It was an interesting time at the World Cup soccer finals in Russia on Sunday, as both Conor McGregor and UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov were in attendance.

Perhaps what was most interesting, however, was that McGregor posted a photo of himself and Russian President Vladimir Putin, of whom he said he was a guest.

McGregor has been Notorious in building his career, seemingly willing himself to become a two-division UFC champion and then into an impossible boxing match with Floyd Mayweather. Could something more be happening with Putin, aside from McGregor being his guest at a soccer game?

Today, I was invited to the World Cup final as a guest of Russian President Vladimir Putin, McGregor wrote on Instagram. This man is one of the greatest leaders of our time and I was honored to attend such a landmark event alongside him. Today was an honor for me Mr. Putin. Thank you and congratulations on an amazing World Cup.

One thing is sure, UFC president Dana White has yet to commit to the Irishmans next fight, although he continuously points to McGregor vs. Nurmagomedov as the likely next bout for both men, depending on the outcome of McGregors legal troubles in New York. But he has also said that he has no intention of said bout taking place in Russia.

So what gives with McGregor buddying up with Putin?

Shaming isnt motivation for everyone, and even for those people who can take it as such, youre still being a vitriolic dick to them for no real reason.

Thats why this speech is simultaneously the best and worst kind of kick in the ass, because it only works for those that can self-motivate already, but just need the kick.

When it comes to fat people, whether theyre already trying or not, they need positive reinforcement more than anything. Shaming them is just going to make their struggle even harder no matter how they respond.

And fat acceptance is a more kneejerk reaction to the vitriolic spite you fat shaming types dole out.

A black woman from Chicago said a CVS store manager called the cops on her for trying to use a coupon he didnt recognize.

The woman, Camilla Hudson, described the interaction in a Facebook post that was widely shared.

So, THIS just happened: I had the police called on me for attempting to use a coupon @ the CVS Pharmacy located at 6150 N. Broadway in Chicago! Hudson wrote.

Hudson wrote late Saturday that Facebook deleted the post because it "violated their policies."

Video of the incident captured by Hudson shows the CVS manager visibly shaken as he speaks with police. The manager identified himself as Morry Matson.

While on the phone with police, Matson describes Hudson as African-American, to which she responds, Black. No, Im not African-American, Im black. Black isnt a bad word.

Three officers responded to Matsons call, the Chicago Sun-Times reported, citing Hudsons post. She reportedly spoke with the officers before leaving the store.

A CVS spokesman said a regional director contacted Hudson as soon as the company became aware of the incident.

CVS has begun an investigation and we will take any corrective action that is warranted to prevent it from happening again, the spokesman said. CVS Pharmacy does not tolerate any practices that discriminate against any customer and we are committed to maintaining a welcoming and diverse environment in our stores.

Matson is reportedly involved in politics. He was a state delegate for Donald Trumps presidential campaign and is currently running for 48th Ward alderman. Matson is also president of the Log Cabin Republicans of Illinois, a GOP group that advocates for LGBT rights.

CVSs coupon debacle is the latest instance of a white person calling the cops on a black person under questionable pretenses.

In May, a Starbucks barista in Philadelphia called the police on two black men because they didnt buy anything. In Oakland that month, a white woman dubbed by social media as BBQ Becky" called the police on a black family that was barbecuing near a city lake.

And in San Francisco in June, a white woman dubbed Permit Patty called the police on a 8-year-old black girl selling lemonade because she supposedly didnt have a permit.

Now then. I know how CE is. "This CLEARLY isn't the entire story! She clearly did something besides this!"

Well... I've did some digging. As of right now, I haven't found a single article that tells the other side of the story and these articles has been out for several days. So you can't just say that she deserved it when you have no other info unless you find some I couldn't. If you do find some other info about this.. Feel free to post it.

Also, I know people on CE will say that she shouldn't have escalated the situation and deserves to be thrown out for that. Well... 1. We don't know if she did. You are just assuming that. 2. If you can assume that... I can assume that coupon she had was 100% valid. See how this works?

I think the interpretation of what happened is different for everyone. Like, we all gotta do a better job and see it both ways.

There's no doubt in the player's hearts they were standing up for brutality. And in the same breath, I have no doubt others that were upset that they chose to use the anthem for their cause because the flag means A LOT of things to a lot of people.

The whole situation is rather unfortunate.

I'm black. Most black People know that people look at you in a much better light if you wear glasses. You look less threatening. I just renewed my license. I was surprised I had to remove my glasses. I didn't have to last time. I look at the picture and I look like I'll rob a store or kill someone. I have a picture of my badge for my job with my glasses.. I look like a really nice dude.

It's insane how much of a different glasses make you look friendly vs without them.. I look like a freaking criminal.

EDIT: Also, no pictures. I know you guys will ask. The answer is no.

the testing done at MSU, which was presumably entered as evidence in the courtroom

the only thing that might save the seed manufacturer is if it can be proven the distributor acted on his own

When I say Naruto series I mean Naruto and Shippuden. Not Boruto.

I rewatched it and I still really enjoyed it overall. I'm not sure where the strong hate from some people come from. The story is very interesting with plenty of twist. It has some pretty deep Lore. It had a great sense of power progression which many animes aren't great at based on my experience. Character development was very good from the quality of the development to the quantity. (Oddly enough, Naruto had the least amount of progression)

There were some clear bad things though. The number of fillers is just insane. Especially in the original Naruto toward the end. Plus, most of them felt like a waste of time in the original. They were there as character development which wasn't needed because the main story did a great job at developing all those characters. Shippuden did a MUCH better job with fillers. They filled time gaps with fillers that were directly relevant to the next arc. (For the most part) Very well done there overall IMO.

To sum it up, I can see why people adore this series. It has some hickups here and there. What makes it good to me is that some things don't seem to make sense when it happens but then you can actually explain it with the Lore. That's pretty cool to me.

What's your thoughts?

Go to one that pretty much only renews licenses. The wait is generally not as long as ones where they do testing and all sorts of other shit. I've been in and out in like 10 minutes on most of my visits.

I only have 1 DMV. I'm not in a big city.

I work at a hospital. I got lucky being able to avoid work today but I can't take every Sunday off. Plus, if God won't let me into heaven only because I didn't go to church then that's bullshit.
