Why does "their" sound weird to you?

I learned in grade school in the early 90's that you're supposed to say they and them when you don't know a person's gender. I'm not going to call everyone that just out of political correctness or whatever. If I see someone who looks like a dude I'm going to assume they're a dude because they probably are a dude.

the only reason kratom is safe is because you'd get sick if you tried to get high on it
drinking 3 beers is easier than eating kratom, you wont accidently choke to death either

The alkaloids in kratom trigger opioid receptors in the brain. It may not be as powerful as actual opiates but it sure as hell does get you high. Taking too much just makes you nauseous. You can get it in capsule form, or swish it around in water before swallowing. Nobody in their right mind swallows the dry powder by itself.

Meanwhile the FDA has their sights on kratom, which is a much safer, 100% natural, alternative to opiates and something that actually helps people recover from opiate addiction.

Better, meaningful quests and NPC interactions.

Is Obsidian making the next game? Then no.

You disagree that TES games need these things?

Disagreeing that Bethesda can and will do it themselves. That's not their strongpoint at all.

I don't think it will happen either but I do believe they could do it if they really wanted to. Why they wouldn't want to is beyond me. I guess they just don't want to put more time, money, and effort into something that's probably going to be successful regardless.

I liked the stories in Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and SOMA. They may not be completely original but I think they were done very well. So I guess my criteria for good story is that it is integrated well and leaves an impression when it's all over.

Didn't they hype Skyrim up for having a dynamic snow system before it was released? I vaguely recall something like that and I assumed it meant that snow could build up and melt away, but obviously that wasn't the case. It had something to do with snowflakes being particles and not just a static effect.

Anyway I think what TES games need most are what @Andromicus hinted at: better, meaningful quests and NPC interactions.

Not exactly a mainstream popular game, but Riven: The Sequel to Myst > Myst. It has a much larger, more detailed world, with many more complicated puzzles and a better story. The main problem with Riven is that some of the puzzles can't be solved with logic. You literally have to get lucky and/or use a walkthrough to solve them.

It's not so hard unless you're trying to optimize everything for max efficiency, but that's not even a requirement.

My favorite city builder is Anno 1404. It's got a medium learning curve but it's tons of fun when you get into it and start expanding to multiple islands and setting up trade routes for your ships.
