I liked both Skyward Sword and Phantom Hourglass. They both had their flaws for sure, but even at their worst they still stayed relatively enjoyable for me. I liked the atmosphere of Skyward Sword, and the very intimate relationship between Link and Zelda.

Watched episode 3 of horimiya. I am enjoying it but it's pretty narrowly skirting the line between romance drama and melodrama. I'm very concerned that with 9 episodes left and their relationship progressed as far as it has that it's going to end being very frustrating and annoying. There's basically nothing to any of the characters outside of their relationship with each other so I don't know how else they could fill up the rest of the episodes.

Haven't watched the anime, but the manga is very slow paced and easy going; takes a while for any relationships to make any real progress. I don't really remember any melodrama though.

I've been having a lot of fun with Candies n' Curses. It's addictive, great gameplay & music, plays offline, and is pretty challenging in the second half of the game.

Well, this probably isn't what you mean, but for whatever weird reason, the game was permanently bugged. Like, on the file select screen, only the animated player icon showed, and there was nothing you could do. I got it from a neighbor who had given up on it, gave it to me for nothing. I tried messing around with the game for a while, did everything I knew how (which really didn't amount to much), and eventually I gave up too, throwing the game up in the air and letting it crash into the street.

Maybe it was morbid curiosity, but I couldn't help but put it back in the GameBoy and see what had become of the game.

It was fixed.

Sometimes you just gotta show these machines who's boss.

The ones that are loud and proud about it actually have a modicum of my respect. If you truly believe this stuff is right and true, then don't be afraid to stand by it. But no, just like those trying to worm out of prison time for storming the capitol, they're terrified of the "consequences" portion of walking the walk.

I got stuck on one level of a DSiWare game for months, so I just gave up and never went back to it. I wasn't the only one who had trouble with it either; there were plenty of topics about it and no solution posted.

lol, I overheard him talking to a customer wearing a Blue Lives Matter shirt, and he is pissed. Couldn't hear much of what they were saying, but I him loudly say "I'm sick of it!"

So last night I finished Nier Automata's third ending.. is it just me, or is it overhyped just a bit?

I mean, it's definitely sad with the post-post-apocalyptic setting and I caught feels pretty often, but the way people hype the game, I was expecting one of the greatest video game stories, with some kind of major twist in the final act. I'd say the only such twist was in act II; there were some revelations near the end but they weren't as jarring as the big one(s).

Overall I definitely liked the game, with great characters and exploration of what makes one alive/a person. But rather than the story (and 2B's fine, fine ass), I think what I most enjoyed was the music. With pretty much every track you could practically feel characters' souls crying out in various emotions.

The funny thing about pineapple is how ridiculously one-sided the whole thing is. It's not as if one side is saying pineapple must go on all pizzas ever made. They simply like it on their pizza, and people are going out of their way to shame them and say they're wrong for liking it.
