For all the outrage about how terrible the first trailer was and how many people have praised the second trailer for listening to fans or improving things, I have a sneaking suspicion the movie is still going to tank hard. Because none of the people who've been posting about it are going to bother going to see it regardless.

I don't know; many people I've seen speaking favorably about the new trailer have mentioned planning to see it now to show positive response for taking feedback. That's beside many people just plain liking it.

One of the bad things about manga, as opposed to anime, is that fan translations of a manga can be and frequently are dropped at any time. That doesn't really happen with anime unless it's a long runner, in which case it's highly likely to be picked up by someone else. But if you're reading some random obscure manga and it hasn't been updated since 2015, that's the end of that.

My neighbors come and go pretty quickly. And I don't trust any of them as far as I can throw them; I've had many things stolen from outside my apartment over the years. I'd never leave a key hanging around or outright give someone one. The whole walking part shows I don't have a car.

I was already tired from working all day and walking home for nearly an hour, and then I get home to see no one there; they're visiting relatives out of town.

Beat Sierra again today; she's a cakewalk with the right setup. She had Sneasel, Lapras, and Houndoom. I used Machamp to beat Sneasel, switched to Metagross for Lapras, switched back to Machamp to finish Houndoom. My third didn't even matter.

I did okay today; got four shinies, one of them with decent stats. I only got to do one Weezing raid, because the other two gyms near me had other raids going at the time.

I tried to take on another Rocket Leader. Last time I eventually beat Sierra, and then later beat her again on my first try. Today I just couldn't beat Arlo at all.

I need to catch up on Again!!; it stopped getting scans for several years. But it's really good, and even has an English release. To my recollection it never comes close to being a harem; there are a bunch of girls but no actual romantic entanglement with the protagonist (besides maybe the main girl).

I also recommend Moteki by the same author; it's got a similar feel (pathetic guy trying to improve himself and his social life), but with no supernatural elements. It's refreshing in that the harem premise is a facade and it's not about teenagers. It's got great characters and a good feel; the only problem is that I've heard it goes in strange places in the second half (I haven't finished it yet).

In another similar vein to Again!!, I started reading "Umareru Kachi no Nakatta Jibun ga Anna no Tame ni Dekiru Ikutsuka no Koto" recently. I went in mostly blind; it also features a loser protagonist who goes back in time and gets to re-live his life. The catch is that the protagonist is a complete piece of irredeemable shit. Things get dark, fast.

Once you've go that down, you can take advantage of another trick to make sure you never waste another Pokeball on a dead or missed throw. After you've thrown the ball and you're in the Pokeball or Berry menu (depending on which hand you threw with), if the ball misses or the Pokemon attacks before it connects, you can select a ball or berry to instantly cancel that throw and save the ball.
