It kind of feels like we're getting the worst of both worlds at the moment. It's taking forever to finish up, and the individual chapters are very short and feel unsatisfying. If Horikoshi needs to take a break in order to put out better quality content, by all means he should.

I just found it funny when they said they were going to wrap it up by the end of last year, when it doesn't even look like it'll be done be the end of this one.

I did well once, so no one can ever accuse me of being a ne'er-do-well.

You either play games that don't require super precise controls, or games that support controllers, or just deal with it. Touch controls ain't new; the DS came out twenty years ago, and had lots of games that were almost exclusively controlled by touch.

Played like 16 games today and only won three. I also got two disconnects on my end and my controller randomly shut off twice. This season sucked.

I think I've been playing a bit too defensively. My main style is to play reactively, watching the flow of the game, knowing where I should go/be, and striking when the time is right. There's been a few times on this losing streak that I got fed up and said "screw it; I'm scoring a goal right now," and did exactly that.

I've probably gotten as good as I'm going to get without learning air skills. Maybe for now I should trust the intuition I've gained and be proactive.

Actually I don't swear at all around anyone close to me except my brother; a combination of being a square and being very socially inhibited. When I'm alone or on the internet I use an odd mix of swearing and not-swearing (like "cheese and crackers").

I just naturally assume that anyone talking to me is not flirting. Then years later I realize that a conversation was more than I thought it was and I want to die.

Thanks to the new dumbass bus route/schedule, I'm now walking 40 minutes to work every morning and 30 minutes home every evening (that's in addition to riding the bus). I don't mind the walking itself, but it's a killer in this heat. But I have some money saved and might be looking for a car soon.

If they don't want to contribute or stop complaining, just ignore or block them.

None; I'm doing fine for the most part without them. If there's something I really want to see, well that's what the black flag is for.

Way underrated. Haven't had one in many years; I may go get one later.

I'm never quite sure what each of those systems are capable of, as far as specs and emulation. I guess if I want the best results I'd have to go all the way and just get a Steam Deck, but I'm not ready to spend that much.
