i don't know how i didn't hear about this the whole time but the classic sets have been reprinted as recently as 2017. this is super fucking annoying only because they use the SAME set identifier as the original which means you have to check for other subtleties for unlimiteds if buying singles.

in the OCG (Japan variant) it IS 5 cards per pack though

i'm not familiar with that specific set but it is not a 'regular' one since there's only 60 cards in the set and literally all 60 of them are foil.

i'm not sure if this kind of smaller set became more common during the time i quit but the last time i actually bought a booster (2014) it was the standard 9 in a pack with around 100 in the set list.

...does anybody here still play and/or collect?

my interest was piqued again recently a couple days ago after quitting in 2014. it's gotten a lot crazier since then so i'm more interested in the collecting aspect right now and trying to finish filling out my binder. but i'm not totally against relearning how to play somewhere down the line.

$5000 was the amount that popped into my head too. definitely don't have and probably will never have a collectible worth that much though and in reality my lowest price would be a lot lower.

PoR was one of the things i had in mind since it's something i actually have lol. and yeah this was my thought as well. if it's only like $100-200 i don't see myself selling a game i like a lot.

Specifically wondering about video games and trading cards but we can extend the question to other collectibles I guess.

Basically if you have a favorite thing that you know is worth something, what is the lowest $ amount that would get you to consider putting forth the effort to sell it?

Obviously there are a lot of factors like financial situation and percentage difference in value but generally what do you think that number would be?

I almost always buy things to keep but ya know...things can change

i remember seeing the old LegendaryFrog flash animations and that was my introduction to the characters. there's references to the spoiler in those iirc but i had no idea what it was talking about back then

the game surpassed my expectations with the character creator but then i got into the game and it becomes apparent within 10 seconds that i'm not going to be into it

on Murder by Death, i'm still honestly glad i watched it because i would have never done so otherwise and i might use it in a future personal project

so i mentioned before that before the change to the voting system, i went back through all the past votes and that it wasn't 100% certain because of unranked votes and tiebreakers but only 3 out of the 16 past votes would have had different results.

I actually forgot how much incest was in this. I found that I had drastically overestimated my memory regarding it actually since i forgot about such key scenes like being inside the vagina while the penis is fucking it. It's a film where Im definitely more interested in the concept than the plot/film itself. It was what drew me to it in the first place since I had a morbid fascination with imagining my death and the reactions of people when i was young. A lot of really cool MOMENTS but i really started to feel the length as it went on. I remember hoping I was going to have my mind blown before i watched it the first time but i was just left with a 'wat' feeling. I had it at a 7/10 when I first watched it but bumped it up to an 8 because I thought it was something that stayed in mind despite not exactly "enjoying" the experience. well apparently it did not really stay in my mind since i forgot most of it besides some scenes like the dicksucking and momfucking. i still feel like it's something special and a unique experience but again, not something i can say i "enjoyed" which is what my 8s are so it's back to a 7 for me.
