| junk_funk 08/08/21 3:38:33 PM #476 | Its been a couple days since I complained about this rounds impact on the contest. Kyle, Aerith, Bleck, Glados, Boss, Miles6 of the top 10. Joining that all star cast will be Missile, Dedede, Phoenix, and Samus/Snake. This contest looked set up for a great run. But when the eight of the top 10 is underdogs because of a bad rule set up, its just a shame. Sure we might get a fresh faced unexpected winner, but more likely well see Samus/Snake or Phoenix just run away with it (if its 1v1s in the final round). --- Board 8 fought azuarc, and azuarc won. |

I had neve played an Ys game before, bought it in a sale and almost immediately regretted buying it because I thought it wasn't going to be that interesting anyway. Ended up being one of my favorite first playthroughs of a game in a loooong time, beat the game 100% and literally wasn't bored for 1 second. Man this is how Ys VIII happened for me too. I had no problem at all 100%ing the game with a smile on my face. Barely even touched a guide as well. Just a great game. --- Board 8 fought azuarc, and azuarc won. |
