In theory, the pressure on the object underneath would need to be high enough to cause it to become liquid.

Rather than causing it to become a black hole, it's more likely imo that the particles of the object underneath would just be 'shifted to the side'

That's kinda what I figured. I only mentioned the black hole as an idea do to the density, not the object becoming a a black hole

I want to get some monsters to level 10 to synthesis the good ones, but I'm only on the first island after the monster scout quest beings, with my highest level being a level 9 slime

Should I keep going here, or am I essentially wasting my time? I figure I should maybe synth 1-2 monsters and scout at least a heal slime, but my slime has heal already. Should I just finish this island and scout whatever I can, so next island I can level up a lot or what?

Oh that's different.

Our dog Rufus was diagnosed with heart issues about midway through his life and ended up living about 15 or 16 years but his only symptom was a sort of wheezing cough if he overexerted but was otherwise fine.

I don't know what to say, if he's in noticeable pain and there's nothing to be done about it it's probably for the best :(

Honestly at this point if I can't convince my parents to take him, I'm gonna just going to dig the hole over days if need be, give him one last great day, have him put down and give him a proper burial myself. :(

Do they know what he has or is he just really old?

He's only about 6. He has some form of lymphedema/heart failure which has no cure, just various treatments which haven't helped.
I've told my parents they have to put him down and I will if they don't, but they insist on waiting for the ground to thaw so they can bury him at home
