I'm really on the fence with Pegasus but I will say Mid Fodder. He is the memorable and overdramatic main villain of the first season of the Yugioh anime, known for his Toon cards, "Yugi-boy" and stealing souls. And his hair is magnificent.

Low Fodder for the other 2. Spiny is probably one of the least-liked Mario enemies, mostly known as "that annoying thing Lakitu throws at you". Lorelei never had a major appearance outside of the Gen 1 games, which shackles any potential she had to take advantage of waifuism. She doesn't even benefit from a Gen 1 anime appearance since the dub renamed her "Prima" for no reason.

Mid Fodder for Gimli. As much as people like Gimli for his great one-liners, his design is very "generic dwarf" which I think will hold him back from being on the same level as Aragorn or Gandalf.

second all of axem's nominations. Agree with Low Fodder for Igor and Jin. I think only really big Persona fans will be voting for Igor, and Blazblue is probably not getting anyone over low.

For Michael Vick I will go with LAW Fodder. Most of Gfaqs will know who he is since he was a notable big time NFL player in the 2000s. However the run-and-pass QB play that Vick innovated has been done better by a dozen or so players since his early 00s debut, which I think removes the incentive for a lot of football fans to vote for him. Plus I don't think Gfaqs will be so quick to forgive his specific scandal.

agree with re-ranking Gimli. I think I said mid for him way back but he ended up making high fodder overall.

also I will change my ranking on Gandalf to High Fodder. He doesn't have a ton of playable game appearances, and most of the ones he has are part of an ensemble. Metal also made a good point of his design holding him back a bit in comparison to Aragorn or even Gimli.

agree with axem on all except Hagrid. I will say Mid Fodder for Hagrid - I do see him as somewhat of a fan favorite and he is very prominent in the first 3 books/movies. Everyone also knows "Yer a Wizard Harry". Plus if he gets his amazing PS1 appearance in the match pic I can see him picking up joke votes.

agree with metalmind. Most of Gfaqs should know Tecmo and how busted Bo was in the game. Losing in 2009 shouldn't be held against Tecmo considering it got thrown into an incredibly bad matchup thanks to era division.

I will actually say High Fodder for Ninetales. It is a pretty popular Pokemon even among Gen 1 mons, and was arguably a better in-game pick than Arcanine prior to the physical/special split. lol physical Fire types.

Agree with Low Fodder for Baraka.

Tentacruel is close but I will say Mid Fodder for it. It is remembered for being in the anime opening, and a giant one was in an infamously banned anime episode. Plus it was a good Pokemon to use in many game gens due to its solid stats, typing and movepool.

agree with Metalmind.

to address the high rated broad media characters, it's very possible that Batman and Spider-Man are overrated by a tier. The point was made in chat that their influence is at best equal to that of Goku. While they are probably liked better as characters than Goku, the sheer popularity of DBZ on the site likely holds him up anyway. Spidey might still hold up since recent Spider-Man games have been popular. Batman has. . . the upcoming Justice League Snyder cut : l

Like Ash to Red, I think Gary retains most of Blue's strength and will hold up. Unless we've overrated Blue as well.

Luke and Vader can probably move down a tier - neither of them have an impressive array of games to their name and I kind of think Luke's appearance in The Last Jedi did not do him any favors in terms of likeablity.

Gandalf can move down a tier and so can Obi-Wan, though the pure memeibility of the Star Wars prequels gives me pause on him. I'd keep Yoda and Harley where they are for now - I think the popularity of The Mandalorion helps Yoda, and Harley has a popular adult animated series of her own. Plus her portrayal in the DCU is praised despite the overall negative reception of the movies in general.

Akihiko is a main character and is pretty well-liked, but definitely less popular than Aigis or Mitsuru. Golbat is pretty close to mid due to its design standing out, but it never struck me as a particular favorite in Gen 1 and was pushed aside for Crobat in Gen 2. Hide is another custom character and I can't figure out if they have a "default" appearance in the game. But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since Gfaqs seems to like Nioh.

agree with axem as well. Benjamin could get a decent pic, but I'd guess that a lot of Mystic Quest fans likely don't even know he has a canon name. I was thinking of going law for the Oxen, but the Oregon Trail playrate on Gfaqs is probably pretty high so I can see them beating some bad low fodder characters.

Low Fodder for all today. Being a literal pile of eggs is funny, but I don't see Exeggcute getting a whole lot of support out of it. Its evo gets more exposure and is much more memorable.

Luneth has it rough being the exclusive protagonist of a DS-exclusive remake. He'd need a major reappearance to be worth anything considering he wasn't in Dissidia.

agree with axem's ratings. Lusamine has the hot MILF thing going on but Gen 7 is too late for Gfaqs to care much for her. Necron will obviously pretty weak but at least he's notable for being a "giant space flea out of nowhere" final boss for FFIX. Krusty I feel hasn't been popular for a long time - he might have been forgotten completely if not for supplying Skinner with steamed hams Krusty Burgers in 1996.

For Wonder Woman, she's one of DC's biggest characters and much more popular than the likes of Aquaman and Flash. Her newest movie wasn't well-received but I don't see her falling under the fodder line as long as she's getting pushed in big budget productions.
