Gameking has beaten Inside and Firewatch.

I beat Inside two days ago and really enjoyed it, but Firewatch stuck with me on a whole different level. I had wanted to play it back when it came out, but didn't have the means to. I remember hearing negative things about the ending, but I thought it was perfectly fine, and I think the game as a whole mostly did a great job of what it set out to do.

Both were short and sweet. I'll have my nominations up when I decide on them.

Gameking has beaten Ghost Trick.

Glad this was picked. I remember buying 999 years ago over this, but I still wanted to give it a go. Had a good time with it.

Gameking has beaten Jak 3.

Glad to say this has held up a lot better than Jak 2 which went from my favorite when it came out to my least favorite of the series. It was cool replaying it.

I guess I've got three noms. I'll go with Katamari Damacy, Rayman Legends, and Inside.

I've been playing Jak 3, and my file says I'm 72% finished.

I was a little worried about replaying it since my Jak II replay was more frustrating than I had remembered, and I ended up disliking it. Thankfully, Jak 3 has been much more enjoyable. Having checkpoints really helps.

Gameking has beaten No More Heroes.

Decided to go ahead and replay this. I didn't remember much of it other than good boss battles and disliking everything else. I had a lot more fun with it this go around than when it came out. Exploring the world is a lot more interesting when looking for the Lovikov Balls even if it is still lifeless.

Overall, it's a flawed game, but an enjoyable one. Kind of want to try out the sequel now.

Gameking has beaten DOOM.

Doom was fantastic. The firefights were exhilarating, and while I relied on the rocket launcher a lot, all of the guns were fun to play with. I will certainly be revisiting this game. Never played a Doom game before, but now I really want to go back to the beginning.

Been playing Doom. Made it to mission 6. I'm having a blast with it. Never touched the series, but this makes me want to go back and play from the beginning.

Gameking has beaten New Super Mario Bros.

Glad I finally played this. There were a lot of levels here with some cool, original ideas. This game must have felt really fresh when it came out. My biggest issue were the power-ups. Aside from the fire flower, I never wanted to use any of them. They all felt limiting in some way.

For next month, I'm going to nom Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 and Jak 3.

Just found the father in Severed. I'm enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. The battle system is really unique and shines when you're up against several enemies at once.

No it didn't. I had to replay the first two episodes. Apparently it was a common issue on the Switch version of the game, but none of the fixes I found worked for me.

Gameking has beaten Batman: The Telltale Series.

Despite my progress being deleted, I had a lot of fun with this. Never played a Telltale game before, and I enjoyed how they told a different Batman story than other games.

Been playing Batman on the Switch, but when I started episode 3, none of my choices were saved for some reason. I guess I can continue with these different ones, but it really killed most of the fun I was having with it.

Kind of discouraged, but I'll probably go back to it.

Gameking has beaten Batman: Arkham City.

Replaying this was a lot of fun. I remember having a great time traversing Arkham City, and I'm glad to see that the movement has held up. The Riddler trophies really reminded me of the Koroks from Breath of the Wild.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to beat Chrono Cross in time. Made it to disk 2 tonight, and I've been having a good time with it. Haven't played a PS1 era RPG in years.
