Dat_Cracka_Jax posted... Why are they trying fantastic four again? The Fantastic Four were what started the Marvel universe and were Marvel's most popular franchise before Spider-Man took off. A good chunk of the Marvel universe was established in the pages of Fantastic Four comics. Doctor Doom (who is arguably just as iconic to the brand as Spidey), Galactus, bringing Namor back from the pre-Marvel days into the Marvel universe, Silver Surfer, Black Panther, fuck pretty much most of Cosmic Marvel branched off from the Fantastic Four. The Kree, the Skrull (right in issue #2), etc. So obviously the Fantastic Four are important to Marvel.
