I realize now that the 2nd brewing tastes very similar to an oolong now that I didn't disappoint myself with the rich brew first. I usually don't like the 2nd brew very much because it tastes like the 1st brew but watered down, but with this, its got an interesting nuance that seems to come through well when it's lacking full body. --- Your palace may last forever, but my yurt can go anywhere. |

Read a little more about it, and it's grown near Keemun. Figures. Guess I goofed getting variety because 3/4 of the teas are from Keemun. Well, at least everything Keemun I've tried, I've liked. I've brewed 2 pints, haven't tasted the 2nd pint yet, it's the 2nd brewing and it's in a thermos for later. --- Your palace may last forever, but my yurt can go anywhere. |

Surprised how much difference the tips make. Tips are cool. I think it's more similar to the daohongpao oolong I have than the other yunnan. I think I miscounted by a few somewhere, too lazy to recheck. And the custom blends messed up the count kinda too. Can now notice the honeylike flavors of the yunnan. Same chain I've been to, but it had more things than I've typically have seen because the area it's in is more populated and/or affluent. The tea area had twice as much tea than I've ever seen in a grocery store. I was surprised it stocked loose leaf even though it was just english breakfast (Which is far more preferable than generic black tea). I wanted to try something new, so I picked up genmaicha. It was ok. I couldn't notice any green tea, just the toasted rice, which was a little disappointing, but not bad. --- Your palace may last forever, but my yurt can go anywhere. |

Indiscernible from the full brewed yixing, if not just more mellow. Still a very good pint of tea.
