I can't remember. But I deleted the so I don't remember. I know turkey meat was over 10 dollars, and bag of corn chips for tacos were at least 6 something. Can't remember what else drove up the price. But I have changed some things around got cheaper version and it just about 30 now . So much more do able. For example for the corn chips I replaced them with Taco Shells. Saved 4 dollars. I got more fatty turkey that was cheaper.

It's worse than gambling. You are better off going to a casino & playing the slots because at least you are usually getting a 80+% payout, often 90%. The payout ratios on the these skins are like 10%, often less. I don't see how anyone can have fun losing that often.

Payout ratio on the average slot machine is under 10%. The house always wins.

I've rarely heard about this kind of stuff happening to owners unless they go into it knowing they're buying a house that needs repairs, or they're careless and don't do proper pre-purchase inspections.

Inspections are expensive. Ours was just $700 that had to be paid up front in cash or check.

If he spent 90k for fixes on the house, that would mean he also spent an additional 96k-144k or so on the mortgage in that time frame. Most renters would have trouble shelling out 200k in 4 years for a place.

Every home is completely different. Had the option to buy another 7 bedroom house that was pretty huge for 430k. But, it would take about 300k to make it livable as they had a massive water loss and the retaining wall holding the house from going over a cliff was failing. Every home, especially older homes, take a fuckton of money to keep up on as warranties end and insurances stop covering as much.

Multiple story houses cost a fuckton to paint nowadays.

Owning a house is expensive but houses appreciate so goddamn fast.

Bought our 3 bed, 2 bath brand new in 2018 for 405k. We are currently pending sale at 560k. We essentially got 30k a year just for owning the house. Its insane.

Now we are moving into an older 7 bed, 3 bath and starting a remodel to make it into a 6 bed 4 bath (master wasnt a true master so we are making one from two bedrooms that adjoin). We got this older house with minimal issues and a brand new roof on it for 450k in a smaller town.

Which, will probably appreciate by the time we move again in 5 years.

Up the price just in time for the Twisted Metal series to premiere.
