There are restaurants in NYC that are doing this now. The issue is state law prevents restaurants from sharing tips with back of house staff so restaurants were struggling to find cooks and a lot of cooks were turning over to being servers since they could make significantly more for easier work. IMO that's how it should be everywhere and it makes no sense to tip the person who carried the food to you and not the person who made i.t

What constitutes being a denimhead? Are you buying raw denim or some other expensive denim? I read about raw denim and there was a picture bragging about the fade after all the work that went into the jeans, and it looked identical to the jeans I bought at the store that I've owned for a while. What am I missing by going to tj maxx and spending under $20 on marked down Levi's or Calvin Klein jeans? Do you ever put jeans in the freezer?

Mainly raw selvedge denim yeah. The quality is much better, after a long time with no wash there is a huge difference in terms of look (every pair will look different), and it really can't be replicated. A real distress vs premade distress are very clearly different. Pre-distressed jeans (whiskers, honeycombs, the works) are also usually ugly as fuck.

If you don't care about what you wear it's not really an issue. And that's not a knock on you, or anyone really, but the reason why I don't wear $20 jeans is the same reason why I don't wear $10 button ups from Wal-Mart.

1. I'm in community college pursuing my Associate's.
2. I'll be done with my education by 2020.
3. She doesn't want to wait that long as she'll be done with her education far sooner than me. She also has this thing about a man should not be making less than her at all -- which is what the scenario will be after she is done with school. She sticks by her opinion to a fault, even going so far as to make this an ultimatum issue.
4. She wants me to go to a different school whose program will get me done with my education a year earlier. Thing is, I will have to take out tens of thousands in school loans for this to happen.
