That is what sucks. My gym only has machines and free weights. Cheap though

I might see if they have day passes if they have day passes , I could do that. Since I don't know how much swimming is worth 42 dollars . But I have to do something to tone up.

That is how many sizes i am down. I got new Pants today and I am in 40s with easy. Honestly I might need to go to the 38. Heck I have to order 38 pair of dress pants. But I don't know I normally just get Amazon suits that don't have numbers in them since they are from China.

I just returned from a family visit, which was challenging for my weight loss. My relatives kept criticizing me for not eating enough for two days. They used to complain when I was overweight, and now they complain when I am losing weight. On top of that, the bed I slept on was very hard and uncomfortable. It felt like lying on rocks, and I am sore all over. (Sorry for the drama, but it affects my weight). My niece was hospitalized for bulimia, so maybe thats why they are worried. But still, if I had a problem, being berated would not help me. As a matter of fact, I will ask them that today. If you think I had an issue, how would your reaction to said issue help me.

On the positive side, I am still around 225, which is not bad. My leg and foot issues have resolved, and I can walk normally now. Ironically, I received my handicapped sticker right after I recovered. I will keep it in case it flares up again. I was in so much pain a few weeks ago, I would never use it unless I really needed it. Being crippled made me appreciate things differently. Note I would not have used it when I didn't need it before..but living the life put things in a whole new level of understanding .I did not work out much while I was away. I tried, but stress and soreness defeated me. I will try to resume soon. Also, when I came back, I found that my rope fish was eaten by something and my skink was missing. I dont know how to say this, but I dont smell him, so I dont think he is dead. I hope he is not. I would feel terrible if he was. I wish I had taken him with me on the train. Nobody would have noticed.

224.8 today. So I have reached my targeted weight and dang I have lost so much muscle over the years. I was 225 back in college and I was stacked like Janga Tower. note I am beating myself up over this. So I guess I will keep losing. I guess my next goal is 200 pounds. I should get there in 3 months. If I graduate this term..which I don't think I will. Since sickness and work kicked my ass last term. I would be at two or below when I walk.

I weighed 228 pounds today, which is almost guessing 1.5 pounds less than when I was 229.9 pounds before. The scale I used didnt show decimals. So I am trying to do guess work. Anyway, I have not been feeling well. I went to visit my family and had to take a train. It was a terrible experience. The seat I had didnt have a window. There were some loud kids behind me that were kicking or pushing my seat. I don't fault them, I think they were special children. But that just set me up to be tired. So I am trying to find time to work out and also the ability to work out since I am just still not feeling it.

Also I didn't get home until late so I am worn out. But I still did my daily work out on my switch. It wasn't a long one. But get getting something in helped. I might be done to 230. At the doctor I was 234 but that was at 4:30 and I wearing heavy pants. So we will see what really am on Thursday.

Thank you for your concern. I am doing well mentally, which is the most important thing. However, I still have some issues that make sitting down difficult. That is very frustrating.

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your concern and support. I dont know what caused me to feel so depressed and sick today. The worst part was before I took a nap. Im not feeling very happy right now, but Im not as bad as I was before. I think it might be because Im in a lot of pain. My feet are still bothering me, and I have another problem that makes it hurt to sit down. Maybe all that pain is affecting my mood. After I slept for a few hours, I had some stomach issues. So even though Im feeling better mentally, thats still holding me back. The only good thing is that Im close to being under 230. But I dont want you to think that Im promoting this as a way to lose weight. I know its a HORRIBLE way, and I dont endorse it at all. As another poster said, it is not the pounds on the scale, it is what they are made of. That matter.

Hi everyone, Im having a really bad day today. Im feeling sick and depressed, and I cant eat much. I decided to cook some shrimp fried rice and chicken wings for later, thinking that I would enjoy them. But after I finished cooking, I suddenly felt so depressed and awful. I dont know why, but I just lost my appetite and my mood. I felt like I had no energy or motivation to do anything. I just went to bed in the middle of the day and slept for hours. When I woke up, I was feeling even worse. I was sick to my stomach (I wont go into details, but it was not pretty). So now Im basically going to eat nothing but a few shrimps and a drumette today, which is way below my calorie goal. I dont know whats wrong with me. I feel like Im failing at everything.

CHAT GPT just made this work out for me. What do you guys think ?

Great! With dumbbells, resistance bands, and an ab roller, you can still create a highly effective and versatile workout routine. Here's a sample program that you can do at home with the equipment you have:

Full Body Home Workout Program:
Warm-up:
5-10 minutes of light cardio (jumping jacks, jogging in place, etc.)
Dynamic stretches to warm up major muscle groups
Strength Training:
Goblet Squats:

4 sets x 12 reps
Dumbbell Bench Press:

4 sets x 10 reps
Single-Leg Romanian Deadlifts (using one dumbbell):

3 sets x 12 reps (each leg)
Bent-Over Rows (with dumbbells):

3 sets x 12 reps
Dumbbell Overhead Press:

3 sets x 10 reps
Banded Pull-Aparts (for rear deltoids):

3 sets x 15 reps
Banded Lateral Raises:

3 sets x 15 reps
Resistance Band Bicep Curls:

3 sets x 12 reps
Tricep Dips (using a sturdy chair or bench):

3 sets x 12 reps
Core:
Ab Roller Rollouts:

3 sets x 10-15 reps
Russian Twists (using a dumbbell):

3 sets x 20 reps (10 each side)
Plank with Leg Raises:

3 sets x 12 reps (each leg)
Cool Down:
5-10 minutes of static stretching for major muscle groups
Notes:
Adjust the weight of the dumbbells and the resistance of the bands based on your fitness level.
Focus on maintaining good form for each exercise to prevent injury.
Increase the intensity by adjusting the number of sets, reps, or resistance as needed.
Listen to your body and rest as needed. If an exercise causes pain (other than normal muscle fatigue), stop and reassess your form.
Consistency is key. Stick to the program and make adjustments based on your progress and goals.
This program provides a good mix of strength training and core exercises. Feel free to modify it based on your preferences and any specific goals you have in mind.

Today was not my best day. I went shopping at Sams and they had free cheese pizza samples. Then I saw a Southern cooking food truck outside and it looked so delicious. It was run by an old African American couple. So, this was boon, I know young hip people are doing great things when it comes to food trucks. But I knew this was going to hit. I got some Shrimp and Whitting.

When I went around to different Lowes trying to find a product that I order so that was an extra hour out I did not plan. And I had to pass a Panara Bread. And I remember that deadly Lemonade people have been talking about. So I was in the mood to go to the Danger Zone. HOWEVER I did not I went to Chick-Fil-A and go some of Diet Lemonade. And might have addictingly ordered a Fry.

Anyway, here are the calories that I consumed today:

Pizza-100 (it was sample size bits)
Shrimp-147
Fried Fish-84
Chick-fil-A Fries-500
Diet Lemonade- 20 (just had a little bit of that)

All together that is 1077 calories.

To be honest after writing it all out , that isn't that bad of a day. Like I can't eat anything else all day but some pickles and water. But I think that would be okay.
I should have got that Murderade .

I think the big difference is when I hear someone "cutting", it's more about looking shredded and it's something that more seasoned weight lifters do, which is a VERY different situation from someone like me who is looking to just generally lose weight?

Like, the topic just says Weight Loss Social, but depending on your situation, weight loss can be a lot of very different processes and we all likely get confused.

Oh I just say cutting as a catch all term since it is easier for me to write out.

I dont have much to share today, but I want to stay on track with my weight loss journey. Ive been feeling pretty good lately, except for some pain thats been bothering me. I have to fix my turtle tank, which has a leak and has lost half of its water. My turtles are okay for now, but I dont want to neglect them. Im going to fix the tank after this post, even if it hurts. That will be my exercise for today, because its not easy to do. Excuse the language, but mentally all out of the blue I started to feel like shit. Like a few posting ago I was happy talking about my lizard giving live birth. I managed to get a workout done, even though Im limited by my ankle injury. I can only do exercises that dont require standing up. Ive been feeling anxious about not losing enough weight, but today I decided to relax and treat myself. Im going to enjoy some fries and fried chicken wings, something I havent had in a long time. Im not doing this because Ive given up or because I want to go back to my old habits. Im doing this because I understand that its okay to live a little. I have a goal of reaching 225 pounds, and Im only 8 pounds away from it. And I have been so pressed to getting there. But thats not the only thing that matters. I should be proud of myself for finding ways to work out despite my injury. This is not a sprint, its a marathon, and Im determined to finish it. And one day, Ill run a real marathon too, no matter what anyone else says. But for today, fries, chicken, and sweet tea are on the menu.

Did my "official" weekly weigh in and was only at 233 . That sucks so much. I know weight and move up and down like 4 pounds in a day. But normally checking in on Thursdays right when I wake up gives me my lowest weight. So kind of bummed. And once more why I think that Cals in vs Cals out is just wrong. I have been at or under 1100 calories all week. There is no way I should have lost so little.

I think I found the magic ticket. Shrimp, you can have a ton of a shrimp and if you grill them or lightly fry them like stir fry. They are only like an 84 calories in a 3-ounce serving. Get some rice that is about 200 calories and that is a whole dinner for under 300 calories. And it is filling. I have been doing my fried rice with this. But that takes too much time and effort. I need to find a side that is easy and tasty. Any one have any suggestions?

He was like you will never be able run that marathon. Then I fell down some stairs and with my laptop. So not a great day so far. But you know what. I am not going to over eat. I am not going to less the stress beat me. I am going to do my set down workout, and still eat right.
