Its never just speeding. A lot of drivers combine that with tailgating, changing lanes when there isnt enough room, not using turn signals (Why? they dont even slow you down.) and other reckless behaviors.

Updates are forced because users are stupid. Including a lot of the IT people.

Being able to schedule more would be good but if they can be delayed forever people will do that because its easier. Its very tempting to keep putting it off because updates will sometimes take some fixing if a thing changed and its hard to see the security patches that go along with the annoyance.

Its only easy until a security flaw that was patched a while lets someone hack into your system.

Aim down sights isnt a bad feature, it can let you set engagements at different ranges with the same weapon.
The problem with ADS is the penelty to hip fire that goes with it in modern shooters which means you cant effectivly engage while moving.

Sprinting plays into this by making your full movement speed lock out any combat options you have, again forcing you to stay still in order to fight.

I know you didnt mention these but there are a few more standard game mechanics in modern shooters turning them into stop and go affairs.

Regenerating health which means if you do get hit the best plan is to hide from combat entirely.

Cover systems that make it so you dont even need to move anymore once the fight starts just sit down for a bit when the screen gets red, dont worry the bad guys will wait for you.

It all combines into a game of red light green light rather then a fun combat encounter.

Well for a start there are physical requirements to continue living and beyond that things which while not vital will at least in theory make life more enjoyable in one way or another.

Why do we avoid pain?
Physical pain is a reflex that lets us know that continuing on the current course of action will harm our body. It isnt plesent so we try to avoid the sensation in the future.

Why do we care if we go extinct?
Any spiecis that doesnt care about surviving cannot remain for any length of time.

Why do we desire happiness?
Because we like being happy.

I guess it depends on what type of dragon, some are animals with magic breath (Most Final Fantasy games) some have human level or greater intelligence. (Dungeons and Dragons)

I know Developers sign contracts with Publishers but it always seems like they submit the game. Then, the Publisher says no and to change a bunch of stuff. It's like they get creative freedom... until they submit it and they lose a big chunk of it. I know you need money for development but you would think you can flex your muscles some as Developers in the contract stage. Especially these major Development studios.

The only one I can think of in recent memory that gets most of their freedoms is Blizzard with Activision. Blizzard made the game they want. They did have to add loot boxes but they didn't have to go beyond cosmetic only like other publishers. If it was up to Activision they would have put new Heroes in loot boxes. That or they would have put new characters and maps behind DLC packs.

Well, they did do that in Heroes of the Storm they just didnt remove the option to outright buy them.

More games need to do it the way Halo did it, tbh. During the tutorial at the start of the game, as you're waking up they tell you that they need to calibrate your armor suit and to look at the lights on the left and right. Then they tell you to look at the light on the top. Regardless of how you move the stick it always looks up (and then changes the settings accordingly). It's so intuitive that most people literally never even think about it. They just do what feels natural, either pulling back or pushing up on the stick, and the game automatically allocates that to be "up" for them. It's brilliant.

It also has a catch for if you are a smart ass (like me) who presses the same direction both times. It makes you try out both methods then manually pick one.

I do think relying on YT ad revenue is a bad idea for new channels, if you are not already making money it would be better to look into things like video sponsorships and patreon then trying to start monetizing now.

Im confused about #1.

So you want them to ignore your call if they have a job?

Do you schudle the call time with them before hand or call unexpectedly?

Do you expect someone to risk getting fired at thier current job because you might be able to get them an in person interview?

The rest of the things make total sense to not consider someone for.

I dont see this as really doing much until you can solve the issue of player movement, this actully makes it worse as you no longer have buttons or sticks which can be used for janky movement methods used with the current Vive/Rift set up. In fact this would require a whole new control set up for any game using it.

The current main problem with VR tech is player movement, how do you let someone move about a full world while they are physically confined to a 10ft by 10ft area at best?
