I've been in CA most of my life.
I plan to retire out of state.
My money will go much farther in any other state.
My biggest complaint is over population.
Everything and everywhere is just a mass horde of bewildered people, standing around with their mouths open as if this was the first day they ever stepped outside.

My biggest concern is trying to figure out where to move to.
I don't want to go somewhere only to find myself surrounded by all the people that I tried to get away from, a few years later.
I have no politics and I don't consider myself a Californian or any other type of "ian" "ite' or "ander".
I just wants some peace and quiet with about a half mile between me and my nearest neighbor.

Arizona, Colorado and Texas have large influxes of Californians moving there, so if you don't want that, avoid those states.

As for options: Wyoming, North/South Dakota, Idaho, Montana, Iowa and even Kansas. The north is worth checking out more than the south, imo.

Yea. If you want to avoid drastic influxes of people, you gotta go where it gets cold. I have no problem with cold.
Thanks

Thats called a hostile work environment and is grounds for another complaint.
.

No its not. No one is forced to talk to their coworkers in a non work environment context.

The lunchroom is a work environment. The point isnt whether they talk to you, the point is the change from talking to you to not talking to you. If the employee feels intimidated or threatened because of the change in treatment, it could become a management problem. He would probably be moved somewhere else.
Not only that, but legally, it could be the weekend and youre at a table with your fam and friends and a coworker is at another table with their fam and friends and youre talking racist stuff at your table, they can actually repot it to HR on Monday and it becomes a work related issue.
Im not making this stuff up! Like I said, we have an all day annual training on this stuff and this is truth! I totally disagree with it but its true.

This is why HR came down on it hard.
They need to have a paper trail and a history of disciplinary actions so that if something comes of it, the company doesnt get sued. She just gets fired.
A lot of people are blaming the TC, but TC did the right thing for the company.
If you dont like how it all played out, dont be stupid and it wont be an issue.

Heres another scenario that isnt being brought up-
Most work places are subject to discrimination and hostile work environment regulations.
One of those regulations is that if an employee makes an offensive or hostile remark in the presence of other co-workers and there is a complaint by another go-worker, the co-workers that heard the remark and didnt report it can be disciplined as well.
We have training on this subject every year where I work.
The reason we have the training every year is because that exact scenario played out.
That is supposed to discourage people from saying stupid things by encouraging everyone to report stupid things said by stupid people.
On another note if selective breeding made slave descendants better athletes, how do you explain African distance runners and sprinters?

It boils down to this
Do you work to make friends or to make money?
If youre working there to make money it doesnt matter what people think of you.
Three out of every five people are complete idiots that youll be better off not having in your life.
Youre not missing anything by them shunning you, and youll find that theyve actually given you a gift. You wont need them. All you need to focus on is doing your job and keeping your nose clean and they cant touch you.
If youre working for friends then you probably should consider moving on because stupid people, while understanding very little about decency, never forget when one of the fish changes course and then tries to come back to the school. They never forget and never let you forget because its a way to control. Stupid people cant control themselves but they thrive on controlling others.
Its all up to you and what you want and yes, my post is heavily biased. I work to make money, not friends.
I already have friends. If one of my workmates makes the cut, fine.
If the others dont like me I dont care. They dont pay me.

.....how much money you make is going to be affected by how much people like you.

No one is throwing promotions and raises at the office asshole

The people that pay gave an idiot a week off while not doing anything to the tc.
TC has nothing to worry about because the people that pay realize that if they dont discourage idiots from being themselves, the people that pay will eventually pay someone a ton of money because an idiot opened them up to a law suit.

Management also doesnt want someone who stirs shit unecessarily. They may have just suspended this chick for a week cause they had to protect their ass and look like they acted on the report of racism.

They also may not like that you made them have to pay someone to sit on their ass at home not working for a week cause you were upset by a bad joke.

Just something to consider

If thats true then management has a high concentration of idiots that arent worth working for.
If the current money is fine then theres nothing to worry about either way.

I'm not a fan of unnecessary destruction of life, that even extends to my behavior in video games. Needless to say, spiders get a pass too.
I'll usually just let them be so long as they tend to stick to one area. If they become troublesome, I'll gently evict them.

Word for word, exactly how I feel, including the spill over into games.
Also, as mentioned earlier, the more spiders you kill, the more everything else that they keep down.
Less spiders means more West Nile Virus, Zika and EEE, where I live.

When you click boards and scroll down the list, it shows whats popular on the main boards.
Politics always has something going on and I'd rather not see it because I hate politics.
So even though you're not actively searching for it, it shows up anyway. Thats just one example. There are plenty of other entire boards I'd drop as well.
Yea, i know you can just ignore it, but it's like the smell of a dead animal that hovers in the air. You could ignore it but it's better to find it and bury or burn it.

Netflix- Ugly Delicious- Fried Chicken episode- answer.
Every culture around the world has fried chicken.
America is the only culture to weaponize it.
Slaves originally cooked it for their owners when they had guests.
It went 2 directions after the war.
Some ate it because, now, they could eat what they once werent allowed to, others refused to ever cook it again because of who they were forced to cook it for.
Rabbit hole created.
Either way it was viewed by freed blacks, it was used as a stereotype by the very ones that forced them to cook it.
