Also movie Ryuk sucks ass. I liked how in the Anime he was basically a neutral troll to Light. He could care less what happens, but still taunts him when Light screws up or get's outsmarted. Movie Ryuk just doesn't do anything, or have any character development

definitely agree with this - in the movie, Light was specifically chosen to receive the Death Note, and Ryuk pretty much bullies him along the way
