I'm assuming Windows. I'm personally in Windows 10, so your exact steps may differ. If you go to Settings --> About --> Advanced system settings --> on the Advanced tab under Performance and click Settings..., there should be a tab called Visual Effects. You can either adjust for best appearance, performance, or customize which effects to use. I'm thinking "Smooth edges of screen fonts" might be the relevant setting.

Silk makes almond milk, too, not just soy milk. I have never liked oat milk. Almond is my preference, but soy is also acceptable.

Which brands and kinds are you comparing? In all my experience, mostly with the unflavored and unsweetened varieties, I have found Almond milk to have a very neutral flavor, like thicker water. Soy milk, while not "bad" to me, has always had a more noticeable flavor. I usually drink Silk brand. And if you haven't already, maybe try Simply Almond milk, the same people that make orange juice and stuff like that. My favorite kind.

As for plant-based alternatives, I have yet to find a good fake cheese or chicken, but I think Impossible/Beyond beef is just as good as the real thing, for most ground beef-like substitutions. If it weren't for the higher cost, I would order those options more often, but regular beef is usually cheaper.

Obviously it's a very personal decision to make, and you will know what the right answer is for yourself and your situation. I feel that if the transgressions between the two of you are "mild" enough, for lack of a better word at the moment, that you can look past them and feel true love between the two of you, or at least that you don't wish her ill, I don't see any reason why wishing a happy birthday would be unreasonable. Not to say that you should engage in long conversation or extended interaction, if the relationship is damaging for you to be involved in. It is quite the balancing act, for sure.

I think it's very complicated. Also, super simple. A double-edged sword, if you will. But I guess most swords have 2 edges. So I guess it's like a sword. Very cool.

I don't think these movies are great for drinking, personally. For me, the slow pacing makes it difficult for drunk me to pay attention, but yes, Porco Rosso is my favorite of those listed. Nausicaa might be a little more engaging when drunk, though. Ponyo is great for other party favors. Castle in the Sky might be the best overall, even though I personally prefer PR for the mood. Kiki's is ok and The Wind Rises, I don't think I've seen that one. If you haven't already seen it, I think Pom Poko might be the best one for drinking. Grave of the Fireflies is my personal favorite across the board, but only good if you feel like weeping.

The worst part is the hypocrisy. If you read the opinion of the court, it's just bullshit disguising their bias. The Supreme Court is supposed to be better than this. It's not their job to change law to suit their interests or the interests of those that put them in power. Roe v. Wade went the way it did because it is a logical conclusion to protect the right to get an abortion when drawing from the constitution. Their bias could not be more obvious here. They did not perform their role properly. Big bummer.

What? Is this a thing people say? Carrot party? I'm definitely going to use this now.

I don't have any guns, nor have I ever even shot one, but I feel like if the Supreme Court's job is to interpret and apply the constitution, it would be pretty difficult to justify if they didn't uphold the 2nd amendment. Changes to the constitution are not up to them. So as long as that 2nd amendment exists as is, they have to protect US citizens' ability to get and have them guns.

Not really, although I am pretty excited to play the TMNT Cowabunga Collection. Their collections(cash-ins) for Castlevania and Contra were honestly good value and solid to play. The most barebones collection of Suikoden games on modern consoles would be so good, it's not even funny. Just a little bit of attention for this franchise would go a long way. Suikoden was always overshadowed by FF, but I've always preferred Suiko for replayability, music, environments, and lore.

I understand why Square Enix is held to such high standards. They have made so many amazing games, both as their individual companies, and combined. So for them to not keep up with those standards is a huge bummer. I also don't think we should be too hard on them, as they are one of the few devs out there still making games that are usually at least of acceptable quality.

As for their pandering to '90s nostalgia, I honestly wish they would pander a little more. All us old gamers get nowadays are modest remasters. And there are plenty of great games from that decade that still deserve more love. And do you think those games require nearly as much in terms of capital and resources as their newer IPs and endeavors outside of the classic JRPG genre? They continue to innovate in other genres with quality entries, but me personally, I just want to see those sweet sweet remakes and remasters of the classics. And maybe some additional content and sequels in those worlds.

As a JRPG fan in general, I envy FF fans, as they get to see their favorites from their childhood continue to get remasters, remakes, and sequels. Try being a fan of Suikoden and Konami... Yeah, there's nothing new for us. Except for Eiyuden, which I can't wait for. But I will. Yeah.
