giants already won 2 games so they're in no danger of being called a historically bad team. that's a win for the players.

There's just no preparation whatsoever. I understand the injuries, but even backups and third stringers would be prepared to come out and play even if they're not diamonds in the rough.

I really think Daboll/Schoen/Bobby Johnson should be gone this offseason, if not sooner.

McCarthy once again is showing Daboll how it's done.

Well, the Giants can't draft a quarterback and a left tackle with their first round pick.

The Andrew Thomas injury is one of the grossest I've seen in quite some time.

I mute the TV when commercials feature one of these songs:

At least there hasn't been any commercials featuring those songs in awhile.

True, but I think they dump him if they can get Maye or Williams in the draft. The 2025 draft isn't nearly as good for quarterbacks as the last few drafts.

The Giants are gonna be stuck with Daniel Jones for awhile, lol. I'm fine with the Giants potentially taking another offensive lineman. I think many people realize that the Evan Neal experiment may be coming to an end but I don't think he'll be that good at guard.

I've seen a few mock drafts have the Giants taking Keon Coleman. That seems kinda high for another wide receiver Daniel Jones can't get the ball to.

I wonder if they move Barkley. I doubt he's going to the Superbowl with this regime, give him a shot at a ring somewhere else.

Also remember, Tyrod has a history of being injury prone.

And it went off the rails for Daboll against Arizona, even though they won that game.

They seemed lucky to beat the Commanders last week. The Giants did look pretty good in the first half, but they bent big time in the second half and were lucky they didn't break. Their pass rush disappeared in the second half and they struggled to move the ball.

Don't forget the pats once won a game in extreme conditions by throwing the ball 3 times. It can work. Hell it was working until the giants missed a FG (That they should have not taken in the first place imo).

Fourth an inches, Barkley probably has a better chance of getting a first down than a kicker with a bad leg does of making the field goal. Gano can barely kick the ball 20 yards on field goals. There had to be someone available that could at least get the distance on those field goals, and they could have put Gano on IR if his knee is really that bad and needing surgery.

People have been asking very important questions about the Giants here:

Why has Tommy DeVito been on the Giants roster as the backup to Tyrod Taylor for three weeks when the organization obviously does not trust him to throw a forward pass? Why has no one else been picked up? How is this level of incompetence not immediately fireable?

They didn't even seem to prepare DeVito for the possibility that he could be in a game. DeVito more likely than not won't be a long term answer, but he's gotta be prepared to come into the game. I get that it was rainy and the Jets have a really good defense, but there was a serious lack of preperation and they wouldn't let him try to throw the ball.

The Giants overall just have not been prepared this season and easily should be 0-8. What in the world was Daboll doing during the offseason? Don't tell me he was living it up with his newfound celebrity and filming commercials and making appearances all over the place.

Joe Schoen and Dave Gettleman make me miss Jerry Reese, although the way Reese put together a roster wouldn't work nowadays, and that's why Reese lost his job in the first place.

I think overachieving with a roster that's seemingly being rebuilt turned Brian Daboll into an overnight celebrity and it went straight to his head. There's been a serious lack of preperation and Daboll's been outcoached. Mike McCarthy made him look stupid in week 1. Daboll's seat should start warming up pretty soon. I think Schoen's seat's gotta be red hot right now. His draft picks have been mostly failures and he did sign Jones to that albatross of a contract

If the Giants gave Jones a franchise tag instead of the contract extension, and things are working out the way they are now, they could have easily drafted Caleb Williams or Derek Maye. They also may have used the money to sign some veterans for the right side of the offensive line. I doubt Neal's going to be on the roster in 2024, I don't think you move him to guard at this point, he just doesn't seem like he can play in the NFL at all.

Daniel Jones doesn't even have his speed anymore. Schoen gave him a hell of a lot of money, that contract is going to be a killer.

I'd love to make a million in an hour but it would need insane luck. I don't even have normal luck.

I chose 2000 because it was easily the election that could have gone either way, and like others mentioned, seemingly that's where the timelines started to get wonky. Circumstances in 1980 and 2008 made those elections extremely difficult to flip.
