The Among Us characters are probably the best shot for a meme rally. So long as the game still has some popularity by the time we ever get a contest, I could see it. Though that's the exact sort of thing that would be fodder as fuck with our aging userbase, so there is no chance it would win any match whatsoever without extreme favorable bracket placement.

Memes for games come and go, I'm surprised at how much staying power Among Us seems to be having since people found out about the game. It was a forgotten game before several popular streamers tried it out. Sus still gets used as a word a lot. I think enough people could put together enough nominations, although you're right that there's no consistent name for the characters in the game.

It's not even the best outer space mafia-style game out there. The Jackbox game Push the Button is a better game.

I kind of feel it's a "Remember L-Block/Draven/Undertale? Boy, you ain't seen anything yet lmao." kind of deal, and I'm not convinced it'd be a one and done situation like L-Block and Draven were.

It's true that the grift pays well, but completely flipping might just open up new opportunities. She doesn't need to run for office or anything, just ride the gravy train.

I wouldn't mind a redo of the original character contest, especially since I'm not looking forward to Crewmate rolling through a current character contest.

I feel like sap is an overdone status effect. I kind of wish DeNA would significantly reduce the amount of endgame content that uses it. They can definitely come up with a lot of ways to make end game content hard.

It's the sort of thing that should have killed his career, though I'm sure he would have been crying to sleep at night on a bed full of money anyway once he inherited the Swanson fortune. Carlson's ratings have been through the roof over the years and he has so much control over his audience, it's insane. It feels like the right has controlled the narrative so effectively that a void of charisma like Carlson, a thumb with a bowtie and a bad haircut has his audience in the palm of his hands.

Stewart had a following himself for awhile but I don't feel like he was as effective an influencer as Carlson has been.

I kind of feel like Tucker Carlson ended up having the better career despite getting roasted by Jon Stewart on Crossfire many years ago.

I actually ended up with a lot this fest, after the coin shop opens up I'll likely list what I got over the last month.

Jeez, I ran the 450 lab dungeon. I found a shimmering painting and got a Stardust Rod, which is good because I can use Strago in magic water teams.

Bad news: It was Briefly Raise user's Magic a moderate amount. Ooooofff.. The 400/450 are full of those, or damage reduction barrier ones.

Man, you never really know how rare some hero artifacts are until you need to complete them for a character that's syncwoke.

First new Golbez relic in years, and it's a chain. Too bad I have Kuja chain and my dark team is pretty powerful as it is. Marcus sync looks really freaking good.

Fest started off really slow, but has picked up quite a bit.

Got a big hit on one of these tickets. Ticket 2 was a 4/10 - Dr. Mog showed up. The first three items weren't anything spectacular (I somehow never got that Tyro BSB!) - but Dr. Mog came through and I got Shantotto Dyad. She's already got a sync and a woke.

Two of my three fest tickets from last night gave me the same 5 star/10, Yshtola LMR.

The other one was not a very impressive draw despite being 3 6 stars. A dupe Lenna awakening, Amarant G+ and a WoL USB.

I do have issues with anything tougher than 6* magicites and even then most of the 6* magicites are a challenge. 2017 stuff isn't helping, can't beat White Odins with dupe non-elemental BSBs!

Anyway, enough about Luck of the Realms, I'm glad I got a lot of treasure maps. Labs are a slog and I would prefer to use maps to get some of the rarer Hero Artifacts..

They probably should cut out 5* items at this point though. Have done 5 realms on this one and I basically spent 25 mythril on an Alma Glint (which I will use to be fair) and a bunch of bad dupes.

I'd consider pulling on these again if they would cut out those 5* items from the pool, just getting old BSBs that I would have appreciated in 2017 is kinda dumb and if I needed a 5* for something at this point I'd just get it from the lens shop.

As far as I know they haven't done it yet in JP;

I got Steiner sync from my draw ticket the other day.

Does anyone else no longer pull on the Luck of the Realm draws? I stopped pulling on them when I stopped getting 6 star relics from those. 5 mythril for an old 5 star seems stupidly expensive, especially with sync luckies and fest banners to use mythril on. They're the ultimate trap for anyone outside of new players.

Yeah, that's true. I don't really find most of the right wing talking heads to be charismatic at all (the left does have a similar problem except they completely suck at controlling the narrative), but it really is a matter of saying what their target audience wants to believe. It's like crack.

Oh they are. CRT and the reasoning for the Dont Say Gay bills are perfect examples of this.

It's amazing, in a fairly scary way, how effective the right always seems to be at controlling the narrative.

Even after explaining until they're blue in the face that CRT is meant for law school, the right has been really effective in convincing an enormous amount of people that it's coming to our schools and we must stop it.
