Generally speaking, you'll never have as good a view at the event as you do at home on TV. You're giving up comfort and convenience just to have a worse time, more or less solely so you can say you were there.

Then add in the huge hassle of transportation and potentially having to get a hotel or place to stay since most people aren't going to just travel there, watch the game, and then immediately fly home.

And depending on which stadium you're in, the fact that the game is played in the middle of winter can become an issue, where you're kind of feeling miserable the whole time.

Plus, while most people would say that the experience of being in a crowd tends to increase excitement (the same premise behind music concerts or going to shows), anyone who's particularly antisocial or just dislikes crowds are going to be more put off by all the people around them than they are excited to be part of the group.

There's tons of reasons not to ever want to go to the game, even if tickets were free. Everyone's going to have a different opinion.

Eh I mean, I can understand. Possible travel time, and you might be bored if you have to stay the whole game. Maybe if I brought my Switch, then I wouldnt mind the free food in a suite. Other than that, no point in really going if youre not interested in the game

Idk if someone has already said this but I'll give some perspective as someone who did actually serve in the army: I would bet money the vast majority of these people refusing the vaccine are not anti vax or anything like that, they literally just don't want to be in the Army anymore and this is likely a lot easier way to get discharged compared to repeatably failing a PT test or breaking weight standards, getting medically discharged etc.

This is pretty common and while anecdotal I did know 6~ or so guys who deliberately failed PT tests just to get kicked out and I guarantee you if the COVID military vaccine mandate was around when they were discharged they would have just not gotten vaccinated to get out. The military isnt for everyone and a lot of people dont realize they dont want to be in until like a year or two of service.

96% of people in the army are vaccinated

if someone on CE wants to do the math they can

but to me 4% is low

and i dont think it affects the whole USA

but they just want to see people suffer

You literally don't understand the words you're using. Being terminated from a career for refusing vaccination when that career has literally always required vaccination is not a punishment no matter how many times you say it is. They have a choice. They can either keep their vaccinations current, like every other active duty soldier, like they agreed to when they took the job...or they can be discharged. Just like active duty soldiers can be discharged for breaking one of any number of rules or requirements. Discharge for refusing vaccination is a consequence. Objectively.
