One of my favorite bands, husker du, have great drums on their SST records releases, but when they went to Warner Bros they do have the slapping wet skin sound which isn't my favorite. I question if the band had as much creative power at WB as i though or they did have full control and still wanted on the bandwagon.

Ive got an 8 floppy disk 1994 version of DataCAD if anybody wants it.

Damn, this thing comes with a lot of shit.

8 floppy disks(never opened)
Reference manual
Mastering DataCAD manual
Getting started manual
Desktop tools manual
Software report form
License agreement sheet
DataCAD supported hardware booklet
Registration card
"HELP! When you need tech support and you need it now"
"3 Powerful DataCAD macros for $129"
reference card
"See you on the net! -- Dial Cadkey via CompuServe!"
an offer to buy some DataCAD instructional tapes. with an insetred spiel from Melissa A. Dugan telling you about Lew Robbins tapes.

Its so easy to see why this would have costed 8,000 dollars in 1994 only for me to buy it 15 years later at a book sale for ten bucks.

In a lot of cases, yes. Not every vodka burns, and some can be drank straight. My favorite vodka is Boyd and Blair potato vodka. Very smooth and tasty, even straight.

But in general, no, most vodkas are not meant to be drank straight, which is fine because in general vodka is a utilitarian mixing tool

This is false, and I don't know why people say it. Vodka can be made from nearly anything. off the top of my head I can think of: corn, rye, potato, grape, sugarcane, wheat. and there is more than that.

Now, the concept of drinking vodka to get drunk and never analyzing whats in it is fine, which is where most of this comes from in the first place I think. Each thing you can make vodka from has its own characteristics. Then there are obvious differences between terrible vodka(like, say, nikolai) and decent/good in terms of burn and smoothness.

Aparently there is even a US federal law that states all vodkas must be made in such a manner that they are all nearly identical to eachother. Or something....maybe I am misinterpreting a law, but if that is some sort of law somewhere it must not mean anything big.

The basic card game is really just using the numbers on the cards to attack or defend certain directions. If you have a higher number in a direction next to an opponent's card you flip it. If you have more total cards when the board is filled on it you win.

Then there are more advanced rules you get later on and i never bothered to learn. You can stop the spread of rule adoptions if you know what to do however when getting cards like squall or Laguna i kinda do a save and reload hoping to luck into a battle where i win despite not knowing advanced rules

Plus, and this may piss people off, every time I play I intentionally level up to 100, usually doing so in my prep for the final dungeon. Even though enemies scale with you the game isn't really difficult at level 100 if you have even halfways decent magic to junction

Though now that I think the one that takes the cake in recent memory is the woman who, in the middle of a pandemic, went on a flight with her and 5 kids.

Now I can't say why they were there. Maybe they had a legit reason for flying. Certainly, I was out as well visiting family so I don't have a particularly good excuse.

But thank god I was loaned a pair of noise cancelling headphones a few days before this because when I had them off I could tell this woman wasn't even bothering to supervise he family, which literally made up over half the passengers on the plane.

Hangry - slang phrase for when you turn into a grouch because you are hungry AF, made popular in a series of ads for Snickers.

PITA bread - a type of bread very popular in various countries around the world. Popularly, the Acronym PITA stands for "pain in the ass"

so if you're so hungry you are angry, I don't think pain in the ass bread would help matters

I just don't like when people claim something works all the time(either because they phrased it that way on purpose, or not, or didn't know their tip wasnt 100% universal) when it doesn't. Of course I wouldn't have anything to say if the tip helps some people despite being claimed to be useful for all.

Like one is "leave items in your shopping cart on a webpage for a few days, the company will notice and give you coupons to make it cheaper"

maybe some places do this or it works sometimes, but this doesnt happen all the time, yet it always gets phrased as if companies are rushing to suck your dick because you left an item in your cart for 3 days.

I dont use a pair of earbuds but my pair I use for nearly everything are Grado SR80e cans. I'm going to assume(and I may be wrong), no wireless earbuds in the $100 price range would sound better, then you deal with potential quality loss from being wireless that wouldn't happen with wired, meaning for me, since I don't care about having to deal with a cord, there is no benefit to me switching over, plus there are no batteries to replace or recharge. No possible connection issues. They just work...kinda like in my car I can use my mp3 player with bluetooth or the aux cord. Plugging in a cord is much quicker and easier than dealing with bluetooth.

Ipods are terrible and stupid simply because you either need itunes to transfer songs, or some kind of workaround to transfer. Though I mean the 2000s ipods, I havent kept up with them since like 2006.

My Fiio-X1-II fits the bill. Removeable storage(microsd) so you just drag and drop files.

I use a fiio x1 2nd generation. It works really well for what I need. It uses removeable microSD storage. Fiio is a good brand, but I am only familiar with my X1-II. I havent had any quiet issues with it, though there is aqn option to switch between headphones and line in, I guess to unlock higher volumes when you use an AUX cord or something. I've never really needed to use that.

I honestly don't see the point of an mp3 player as a backup. I don't use spotify or anything so I wouldn't use my phone if I have a dedicated MP3 player.

Also he was acquitted of both counts on Feb. 5th, so he had plenty of time, if we are using the excuse of him being distracted by the impeachment(yet he apparently was able to accomplish so much despite constant Dem attacks), to mount a competent response to it, and he certainly did not.

He mentioned the wife in O(Laura Linney) was "everything Skylar could have been. In on it(the shady dealings) and not a bitch"

Which has me thinking...do people really think Skylar is a bitch because she freaked out when she learned her husband was making meth and dealing with criminals and gangs? Because that seems like a completely natural and reasonable reaction.
