If you're going to be strict on the rules, Conor McGregor would have been disqualified several times in the first couple of rounds for hammerfisting the back of Mayweather's head.

It's pretty clear they relaxed some of the rules for this fight.

The guy had been wobbling around for a round and a half and was pretty much only on his feet because he bounced off the ropes. A big hit from Mayweather may have actually killed the guy at that point.
