| Zigzagoon 06/25/18 4:25:29 PM #53 | No. My point is that there was only a smallish group of people that really wanted Waluigi in the game and then when he was announced as just an assist trophy, those people started wahing about his exclusion which caused a ton of more people to join in on the meme and thus wanting him in the game as well. Memes start out small and then explode. It's the same thing for Waluigi. Everyone is making it sound like Waluigi was the MOST wanted Newcomer for Smash 5 and him being denied is such a travesty when this isn't really the case at all. The meme just blew up and is making it seem like that's the case. --- |

If I went to a smash meetup in my city or any city and asked 100 smashers what characters they would want for Smash 5 (Before the direct). I bet only 10% or less would even mention Waluigi. If you ask now, over 70% would because memes are so t3h lulz. --- |
