Taker on the final episode of The Last Ride...

I believe Im at a place now, post-Boneyard, thats like, I just won a hellacious battle against one of the best in the business. Here you are, climbing on your motorcycle and taking off. There was a lot of thought and a lot of emotion that went through my head, one of those being, Are you happy enough with that? It was a powerful moment. And you dont necessarily always get those. Man, if there was ever a perfect ending to a career, that right there was it.

If Vince was in a pinch, would I come back? I guess time would only tell there. In case of emergency, break glass, you pull out The Undertaker. I would consider it. At this point in my career, I have no desire to get back in the ring.

If Taker officially calls it a career, AJ Styles can say he wrestled in both Taker's and Savage's last matches.

Destruction Derby 2 saves a little face by staying closer to Metal Slug than anyone else, but would still lose one on one with either RE or Wave Race. Nearly the entire bottom half is obscure PC games, and only Carmen and Phantasmagoria escape the LAW fodder section.

That being said, I still may throw down a 1 point nomination for Total Distortion in the 95 tournament.

TM2 is indeed a fun, innovative game and arguably the best in its series 24 years later (only Black could compare/outdo it). The Antarctica level was nuts. Favorites to use were Axel and Mr. Grimm and most endings were crazy as fuck (notably Spectre and Hammerhead for me).

At the end of the 24 hour period, Metal Slug pulls off the upset, winning 13-10 over Resident Evil! Metal Slug becomes both the first Arcade game in the Final Four as well as the first double-digit seed to make it this far.

Well, that was fast. Mario 64 lives up to all expectations and puts away Lufia II 17-5 to secure the first final four spot.

What this also means is that with this region complete, Mega Man X3 was the second strongest game in said 16 pack, if only by a hair.

Shortly after, Twisted Metal 2 got a surge of votes to secure a lead that it never became in danger of losing, advancing to the Elite Eight with a 14-10 victory. Yesterday's match was never in question as Mario RPG went on yet another tear, this time claiming Diablo as it's latest victim. Diablo got a few votes near the end to finish stronger than Sonic, but it is what it is. Mario RPG wins 22-8 and heads to the quarterfinals.

Diablo, you'll always have the iconic Tristram theme at least.

I almost forgot about No Mercy 2006.

Also got a feeling Orton becomes the first person to pin Edge one on one since 2010. Edge retired as "The Man" in 2011, so Orton will claim the first retired Man titles. McIntyre and Samoa Joe have the other two retired ones, and Bayley has the current one in the run that started in 2018 with Becky claiming the vacant title.
