He used maybe 3 or 4 of them for this contest, though I can't remember any of their names. The one alt name I can remember is LargeLongSword, which was used to host some other contest he made about swords. Esuriat posted... I liked how quickly the UAF stuff was found out because the evidence spanned several other contests. I remember them being even more active with Disney and Pokemon.Oh, was he also the Mulan cheater? That sounds vaguely familiar now that you mention it. I didn't realize there was any cheating in a Pokemon contest. --- |

I don't even know which side amy was on for Gilgamesh vs Vivi, and there was also a cheater for Laguna, who got 3rd. Very possible an FFX character wins that year as they did very well. Actually, Zidane might not have necessarily won XII, either. Certainly he beats Ashe either way if he makes it, but maybe he doesn't and Rydia or Tidus win. Very similar to the year before where Kain and Yuna were 4th and 5th. --- |

Fire Emblem and Persona both trucked along for decades slowly gaining popularity over time.Warcraft and Persona have basically followed the same trajectory. Starting to become recognized with Warcraft 2/Persona 3, "big" at Warcraft 3/Persona 4, and even bigger with WoW/Persona 5. And WoW itself is essentially multiple games in one. If anything, the argument against Warcraft is it was already big with Warcraft 2, which sold more than I had realized. --- |

FE3 actually sold really well in Japan. But he's probably not too popular outside of Japan, with not many people having played it. He was no longer nearly as good in the DS remakes and honestly his design doesn't stand out as much either. And then he's even worse in heroes. At least he's a standout again design-wise, though now it may be in a bad way for a lot of people. --- |
