And I'm saying all this 'cos it's really damn amusing to see how there's one big ass community right there freely making the most controversial taboo sex stuff and not even get any single bit of attention from the media. It's like almost nobody outside of Skyrim modding knows

I'm writing this 'cos it seems very few people are aware about it. People know how vast the Skyrim modding community is. But I dont think most 'casuals' (people who dont play Skyrim with mods extensively) know about the true crazy extent of it.
The game's modding has come a super long way since 2011.
And the latter also means the game has since become modded as a sexual fantasy simulation of sorts. For those unaware, there's this site called loverslab that hosts the most carnal...vulgar mods you can imagine, but also the most impressive animations. Skyrim modders invented first person sex even before VR was a thing... They managed to sneak in --
<deleted the rest of detail cos you guys said it's creepy>

And more importantly, you get to control everything. However and whoever you want. It's like the ultimate sex fantasy come to life.

The game was heavily praised to critical acclaim upon release and lauded for its good RPG elements and all.

Yet there was hardly any talk about it after that... We didn't see any sales figures but I assumed the game only did decently well. It's kind of strange considering that this was made by the same team that did the very successful New Vegas.

What happened? Outer Worlds feels like that one rare polished game that somehow went completely under the radar for no reason at all

But unlike other typical video games, wtf even changes in a sports game? Different players? Like wow. I admit I dont even play games like FIFA but if you were to show me FIFA 2019, FIFA 2020, FIFA 2021 etc. I dont think I could tell a single difference among all these. For all the very minor changes they made to update the football players and football teams or whatever... couldn't they just release it as DLCs or something instead?

It's not just oil. Inflation is everywhere like mad across all countries due to the Eusso-Ukraine war.

Ukraine is a huge key producer in many commodities and with the war going on, all these productions are halted so now there's a shortage. It even extends to the tech sector. Goods manufacturers rely on one another for supplies and the costs are going to be passed down to consumers in the end

You know what? Just watch the Angry Joe review. Forget the part about the bugs, just remember the amount of shit they promised. And the amount of content in the trailers that never made it to the actual game. The amount of lies they threw everywhere, just so they could get those pre-orders in.

Hell they made an embargo, gave edited copies to people to play before release so they could control the narrative, so they could get that money from consumers who had no idea what was going on behind the scenes.

Not to mention THEY are the ones that promised it on last gen consoles, then OUTRIGHT FUCKING LIED till release, saying it played perfectly on them. They are the ones who fucked up and lied to everyone, and it annoys me when I see topics like this with people who have no idea what actually happened behind the scenes give them such a pass.

And this is coming from a former CD Projekt Red fan. Fuck them.

I mean fuck CDPR went so far as to make actual fake gameplay demos that misrepresented what the game actually contained, it wasn't just developers talking up their game like usual.
What part of it seemed fake to you? I've only played like 2 hours in so far but everything they showed in the trailer is what you get. The in-game animations interwined as cinematics and no loading screens are just impressive AF. Mind you I just started this game today so I'm playing the latest version after all the hoohaa complaints, following updates ,patching, bugfixes and next-gen update. But seriously, the game is so overlooked in terms of its technical fidelity.

The moment I emerged from my apartment into the open roam of Night City, I was just completely blown away. The amount of NPCs being rendered on-screen. The amount of clutter. The high-rise buildings... All without a single load screen in between. Even GTA V and RDR2 never accomplished something of this scale.

This is truly the one and only next-gen game to truly make full use of next-gen tech. I'm running on a RTX3060 laptop and still got decent 50-60+ fps once I turned off ray-tracing. It's sad how bashed and now forgettable the game has become all because the devs made the silly decision to port to crappy last-gen consoles. Honestly, it would likely have succeeded far better if they just kept the game to PC, PS5 and the xbox series x on release.

So why did you like The Batman suit?

  1. It's a hell lot more practical-looking. Patterson moved with so much ease and flexibility in his suit. In comparison, go look back at the Nolan suit. It's pretty obvious Christian Bale struggled wearing that suit throughout. It's stiff as hell and that's partially why Nolan's Batman fights like a chump

2. It balances the head-body ratio very nicely. Broad shoulders. Slim face. Very sharp jawline. All these facial and body features by Patterson accentuates the body suit to actually look and feel intimidating. Most importantly, Reeves focused on making only the cowl larger in size at the top part of the head. In comparison, past batsuits enveloped the entire actor's head to neck till they looked like some mushroom head. Just take a good look at how dumb oval-shaped Bale's batman looked like. The cowl looked so tight on everytime Bale spoke as Batman, he had to pout his lips all swollen like. It was disturbingly embarassing as heck. Nolan just got away with it by covering Bale's Batman in as much darkness as possible so you couldnt see how terrible he looks.

3. Again, Patterson has a good head-body ratio size and also sufficient muscles while still being lean. This meant he could wear the bulky batsuit while still making the whole thing look considerably slim because his own body wasnt taking up that much space.

4. The suit overall looked like how someone in real-life woud design it. Each part forms an actual common clothing. The cape is just a typical collared cloak. The body suit is just kevlar s*** all over. The cowl is completely detached from the rest of the suit and looked very cloth-like while still being bullet-proof. This meant Patterson could turn his head in all direcitons with ease. Meanwhile Nolan's and past Batsuits were all way too bulky and worst of all, extended to the cowl itself (and thus the stupid giant head issue all other actors faced. tho granted all the past Batman actors also had giant heads). Nolan's suit, while having a detached bat cowl too, suffered from the cowl itself being bulky. This meant Christian Bale was more like wearing some kind of stupid impractical helmet on his head than a cowl.

Why do people keep praising the detective aspect? They certainly made an effort to look like a detective story but Batman was being led by the nose the whole movie and an entire hour of it revolved around him being stumped by a bird pun. He just walked back and forth between the same people asking questions until the riddler killed someone else. He didn't stop a single murder and didn't find the riddler. He didn't solve shit and then he lost. Fuck awful detective.

Cant be bothered to keep clarifying this so gonna just quote from this other post I found:

Are people actually falling for this?

He discovers a pattern for the murder weapon at the politicians killing. He is given a clue by riddler which leads to a cipher, with Alfred's help he decodes it. He uses the ciphers result to track the victims car, finds the thumb drive, cracks the encryption, then investigates the lounge. After interrogating penguin, he catches wind that selina has a connection to the case, tracks her, interrogates her, then uses her to get more information from the lounge without detection. He eventually uses this information to track the penguin to a drug run, catches him, interrogates him, decodes the clue riddler left him with help from gordon, and investigates the next location after deducting where that leads. He is given more info my riddler, deduced who the next target is(himself) but the attack hits Alfred instead.

All of that is detective work. Now show me Bale or Keaton doing anything close.

And I'd like you being put in the same position Batman was. Bets are you're just gonna get lost and start wandering in circles the moment you enter the first crime scene lol

Nolan's movies were great but honestly, Reeve's version completely takes the cake. I'm amazed anyone can even compare the two and even saw, "meh, it's up to par with Nolan's".

No, this is superior to Nolan's. Reeves finally made a Batman movie that actually felt 100% like how Batman should be portrayed. He didn't pull any punches. The movie's climax was insane and not something you'd ever possibly expect from most superhero movies out there with their ever super predictable bulls*** happy endings (Disney MCU movies I'm looking at you and your corniness). Like I legit thought Reeves would plant some deus ex machina save-the-day BS, but he didn't. He just freaking went with it all out.

Light spoiler:
Those who read the comic Batman No Man's Land will know exactly what to expect in the sequel.

Also I see no one mentioning this, but can I just praise at how damn amazingly perfect the Batsuit and Patterson's casting is. He's the first actor to actually looks like Batman for once.

Burton's Batman had a dumb cowl and overweight Batman. Schumacher's Batman had dumb bat nipples and again, the silly cowl neck issue.

Nolan's Batman, while looking realistic, looked nothing like comic Batman. Bale was too stumpy and his oversized head makes his Batman appearance look kinda lame (maybe just my personal opinion but yea). Snyder's Batman was comic accurate too but in a different way. I think his JL Batman ruined the dark undertone though

But meanwhile Patterson looks absolutely perfect in the role. He has the deep jawline. He has the broad shoulders. And Reeves made a perfect choice to fix the cowl issue by just detaching it completely from the cape (Nolan did the same thing but his batsuit still looked way too clunky). He looked almost like the Batman from Arkham video games

EDIT: Forgot to add but the detective aspect is of course the main selling point. Can't believe we had to go through over 30 years before one director could step in and know what Batman's core aspect is really about.

To answer the TC's question with my own thoughts.
I'd say it's because society is told to behave like that. So you had accepted what they were telling you instead of you relying on your own instincts. Being in nature is more natural and liberating than sitting inside soaking in radiowaves from everyone's wifi. Do you have chips and pop with your gaming? Also a contributing factor to that unhealthly lifestyle being forced onto other people.

I like to think logically so I just dont see the point in that...

I'd rather play an open world game where I can admire all the awesome mysterious fantasy elements around me than in the real world where I already know everything around me. This isnt like the 1800s when people were still secluded within their own cities/towns and hardly had the chance to explore outside. Now with the internet we know everything already. Wanna see that rare cave? Google it. Wanna see how the amazon forest looks like? Google it. Wanna see how it's like a desert? Google it

Like I just dont understand. Why'd people want to go see a bunch of green trees for? We already know and can see the whole world around us.
Why not see a bunch of purple trees on another planet or something? Wouldnt that be more fresh and cooler?

In fact I'm the kind of guy who'll be the first to jump into a pool or walk calmly in a heavy stormy rain. I really just... don't care. And I think that's also why I dont care about nature to begin with

I dunno. Im the opposite.
That's normal dude. That's like how 99.99% of people in the world feel like. They LOVE nature. Who doesn't?

I've never even met a single person in my life who actually doesn't like nature like I do.

But you gotta do what makes you happy, not what makes others happy. Well, unless that other is someone you love.
Yeah, that's what I learnt so nowadays I'm drawing back into a hermit state again lol. But looking back, I realized my history of playing video games isn't a waste of time. No, these were the times I was truly happy. Instead of going out there...socializing...trying to live up to people's expectaitons of me and being someone I'm not.

But at the same time, I fear this may take a huge dent into my social life and standing. I'm still single and filling my life experiences mostly on video games isnt going to help one bit in the conversation topics I can engage people with

I mean look, nowadays I'm no hermit or anything but I'd rather pick lazing at home and playing video games than ever going out for a hike and whatnot. Let alone do outdoor activities...

Granted, I think I have some detachment from reality disorder or something since I grew up mostly playing video games at home and tend to have little social life due to being bullied from young.

But regardless, now whenever I go out or overseas to travel, it doesnt matter. Real-life natural scenery just feel so... meh. It's like I dont feel impressed or happy or anything. I feel and I really feel... absolutely... nothing looking at sceneries of nature.
If anything, I just get bothered by all the side effects instead like the heat, the insects, the planning/packing required, the dirt on my clothes and shoes I get etc.
It doesn't matter how much I try. In fact there was a time recently I tried going for as many hikes as I possibly could and even joined two outdoors clubs in my school to grab any opportunity to go outdoors. But nope, I still never enjoyed the experiences.

The very ironic and funny thing is I'm really into big open world video games and seeing great HD graphics of nature on my computer screen hugely impresses me all the time. But not when I see the same scenes of nature in the real world. I dont know. Call me weird. I guess I'm really the only one in the world like this

Punisher is literally just a dude with a bulletproof vest with a skull painted on it, so he has to win by default.
