Patriots might be back as the Ravens fall turns some heads towards wondering what kind of team the Ravens really are. Also, someone was just barely off on Level 6, @KokoroAkechi took the Rams on Pleaser which made it a -7.5 line. And Rams won by exactly a Touchdown. I haven't seen too many cases in even Level 3 of people being that .5 off from passing. At least, this year.

A few ground rules:
-Please say which level you are on when you post your pick. In most cases it will be obvious, but this makes it easier for me to record the picks.
-The deadline to make a pick is at the start of the second set of games on Sunday afternoon (4:25 PM ET). That means no SNF/MNF picks after most all the games have started or finished. You cannot pick a game that has already started.
-The deadline to answer the bonus question is at the start of games on Sunday (1 PM ET).
-Please post the spreads with your picks, it makes it much easier for me.

Explanation of Levels:

Level 1: Pick a winner. Simply pick one team to win their game. If they win, you go on to level 2.

Level 2: Pick an Underdog to win. You must pick a team that is an underdog to win their game. Underdogs will always be the team listed second.

Level 3: 2 Games with Spread. Using the spreads I provide, pick 2 games. You must get both correct to move on. Spreads work by giving (-) or getting (+) points. The team that is the favorite to win "gives" points to the underdog. If you choose the favorite to win, they must still win after "giving" those points to the underdog. If you choose the underdog, you would be correct if they win the game after "getting" those points. For example, if a game says "Giants (-2.5) vs. Cowboys," if you pick the Giants, they must actually win the game by at least three points; if you pick the Cowboys, you would win if they actually won the game or lost by two points or less.

Level 4: 2 Game differentials. Pick two games and specify them to have a score differential of either 10+ or 5-. Make sure to specify which you pick, if you pick a score to be 10+ and the score ends up 3 apart, you do not advance.

Level 6: Pleaser: Pick one team to win using the spread, but with the pleaser, you lose 6 points on the spread. In other words, add six points in whichever direction makes it harder to win. For example, a (-2.5) spread becomes (-8.5), a (+3.5) becomes a (-2.5) spread, etc.

Bonus: Name a duo of Receivers from the same team to eclipse a total of 150 yards this week.

I... can't believe the Seahawks are favored in this matchup. Especially in the same week of Colts being favored over the Packers and even Washington being favorites for... I think the first time? Maybe they were favorites over the Giants, but this would be ludicrous if it came off of any week other than Alex Smith's nearly a comeback. Keyword of nearly.

The week where I feel ashamed with myself, but also get to laugh at the fact that no one passed Level 4 again thanks to apparent obvious choices of how Steelers (who throughout this past decade have performed poorly against <.500 teams, even dropping games to last place Jets previously) and the Chiefs (who were facing a Panthers team that was getting CMC back) were going to blow out their opponents. That said, I would have had to laugh at myself too as if I even picked last week I probably would have grabbed Steelers and gotten bitten for it. Bad story? Bad characters?

It's pretty much these two for most of the people that hate it, as far as I've seen. It's pretty much the driest storyline with how everything plays out. No one really gets developed and it's super predictable. Plus the game itself just feels slow. But I hit a halfway point and wasn't hating the characters so it's probably not something everyone would have.

Whoops, I'm really late. A lot of people failed on Level 4 due to Bills/Jets, I wouldn't have picked that one personally but probably failed on something else instead anyway. Maybe something like expecting a close game between 49ers/Patriots. Ah well, gotta get this post up before TNF.

Explanation of Levels:

Level 1: Pick a winner. Simply pick one team to win their game. If they win, you go on to level 2.

Level 2: Pick an Underdog to win. You must pick a team that is an underdog to win their game. Underdogs will always be the team listed second.

Level 3: 2 Games with Spread. Using the spreads I provide, pick 2 games. You must get both correct to move on. Spreads work by giving (-) or getting (+) points. The team that is the favorite to win "gives" points to the underdog. If you choose the favorite to win, they must still win after "giving" those points to the underdog. If you choose the underdog, you would be correct if they win the game after "getting" those points. For example, if a game says "Giants (-2.5) vs. Cowboys," if you pick the Giants, they must actually win the game by at least three points; if you pick the Cowboys, you would win if they actually won the game or lost by two points or less.

Level 4: 2 Game differentials. Pick two games and specify them to have a score differential of either 10+ or 5-. Make sure to specify which you pick, if you pick a score to be 10+ and the score ends up 3 apart, you do not advance.

Level 5: 2 Over/Unders: I will now provide over/unders for each game. This number relates to the final score. You must choose 2 of the games and decide whether the final score will be OVER the number I provided or UNDER the number I provided. You must get both of these correct to advance.

Level 6: Pleaser: Pick one team to win using the spread, but with the pleaser, you lose 6 points on the spread. In other words, add six points in whichever direction makes it harder to win. For example, a (-2.5) spread becomes (-8.5), a (+3.5) becomes a (-2.5) spread, etc.

The impossible has happened. We had a "who does Brady throw a TD to" question, and the most obvious answer (while he was a Patriot) was the correct answer. That said, it definitely wasn't obvious here unless you were paying complete attention to the Buccs, which I certainly didn't notice that Gronk was coming back into the mix.

That said, a week of failures. Only two people total advanced, and naturally none got the bonus right since who really knew that it was going to be a 6 TD game where three of them were rushing and Aaron Rodgers only pass that went for a TD was a pick 6. I was slightly tempted to give the Aaron Jones pickers a point, but I know more people would have picked him if it was Rushing/Receiving TDs. I'm curious how much better the edited away bonus would have done, I know I would have expected the Vikings would have scored over 30 points.

I learned to do it with 2 from my mom. I don't even know if my school taught me to do it with 2, I just remember my mom having me learn it that way.
