Tomcat had a funny scenario with my character, Minerva, as well. While he seemed to have his complaints about the relics of the past in the Satellite itself from the trophy room there, he was quite interested in the blade at Minerva's side, an epee that party members retrieved from one Ser Dunkirk which is a story for another day. He was heroic in his death, so the legacy was honored. Minerva went without her epee for the rest of the Satellite session (including what happened when we teleported down from the Satellite) and one more session where I didn't have time to get the epee back between those sessions. While not the strongest since it was recovered from an early session, it's technically her best weapon because of a specialization of Fencing I took to have a bit of fun.

After two sessions without it, Minerva went to go get her weapon back from Tomcat and said she'd talk about the original owner of it if he was so interested about it, which promptly made Tomcat very disinterested in the weapon and he just shoveled it off back to her and prowled off.

Alan Scott has had scenes with both Riev and Minerva actually, but both contain stories of characters that haven't shown up, whether that be "yet" or "at all"

Marlus Randone also had a very intriguing introduction. When we got up into the Satellite, our safety there was very bittersweet and we had a criminal (an NPC to be specific but also vague) in our party. We ended a session after members of the Justice League (you'll probably get to know everyone we found on the Satellite in a future write-up so I'll save it for then) opened the door we were in and pretty much had us at gun point. At the start of the second session, we got this whole backstory of some guy that happened to be hiding on the satellite and we were still under some impression that Plastic Man was here. Spoilers... he wasn't. No, it was this reporter who, while tensions were high, fell through the vents and caused attentions to... just go all over the place, then we got a chance to explain what happened to bring our group up to the Satellite and the tensions eased.

That said, I should share a couple things that have existed regarding Air Wave and Riev. So Riev, my Campaign 1 PC and 2nd character, was with the Odyssey, alongside a kid he's been mentoring which I'm sure you'll hear about eventually. I'll keep that bit a secret-ish for now for our two followers. Riev, as a fairly serious and quiet individual, spent like... 3-4 months on a planet with a very talkative/kinda nerdy individual, a member of the Bizarro race (which he saved in Campaign 1 which I'll talk more about if you hear about someone Bizarro related here), and a villain who kept trying to get Riev to reveal the ring in his possession. He, of course, did not have a Green Lantern Ring but instead his Light Manipulation changes color under the light of stars in different sectors. I can talk about that more, but on Graxos IV it was green.

Riev was very annoyed by the time he came back and the first thing he did was catch up with Air Wave. He went on complaining about his time on Graxos, especially about how obnoxious the people he was stuck around were. Air Wave, being an energetic person is also very talkative, and actually started to get saddened by Riev's venting since Air Wave thought Riev was calling him annoying. Poor guy. But then he talked about potentially introducing Riev to his cousin, Hal Jordan. Then ensued a couple awkward conversations where Air Wave left to find GL Hal, who came to the hangar and talked to Riev for a little bit before deciding to fly out to go look for AW Hal, who then came to the hangar ending up setting up a joke of "If both Hal Jordans can't be found in the same place at the same time, are they really different people?"

Even more to go off of, in like, the couple weeks leading up to finding Mera, Minerva was actually setting up an ability to visit the location she expected to find Mera at, which is an undersea prison where her father is, hidden away inside the Bermuda Triangle. She talked to Detective Chimp about it, talked to King Faraday about it, and basically got a visit there cleared and some thoughts on how to get through all the weird things that exist for the Bermuda Triangle. Then she landed on Ismault. Ismault has a blood red sea and I was just like "oh yeah sure, there's probably some strange fish here to tap into." So I had Minerva tap out to learn there was only one thing I could tap into... And that one thing gave her Water Manipulation at Level 8. I will likely have an extra comment about that Water Manip later.

But yeah, the main thing is the utter shock Minerva and I had realizing that Minerva was tapped into the wife of her idol. As a note, Minerva actually said something that momentarily broke Mera out of her Red form for it to easily reform. There's clues to freeing her, but freeing her too soon could cause some great ire from Atrocitus. Not that Minerva can fully do so right now anyway.

My answer you can find in the doughnut hole. It's a yes.

Oh man Hooty. So on the visit to the Satellite, Minerva happened to choose to talk to Doctor Mid-Nite considering his main clinic is in her hometown of Portsmouth, Oregon. Considering she can speak to animals, I was tempted to speak to Hooty, but instead just rolled to translate his original hoots. I can't even describe what I got at this point since it's been a while, but it was utterly hilarious and I want someday to talk to him more. This also comes into a note of the previous ranking of Patroklos, who is a fun character while silent but the more scenes we see the more me, having a character that can talk to animals, makes me want to get her to talk to the goat. It's just with him shored up in Spirit's room I'm gonna find an extra excuse first.

As for this hint... Oops, I considered Cutter but left him on my long list since I wasn't sure what kind of future he has. Was a great first and... pretty much only scene though.

Community- I may think Jeff alone, as long as he isn't tired out from them all fighting each other would still beat my ass but I look at Zim having a robot and I don't think I ever knock him out.
LoGH- Someone correct me on the physical strength here but they're all mech pilots. They probably at best are dieting and not really doing much, if any, conditioning. Of course there's also a show with a lot of dogs but there's a lot more there.

To be fair, unlike Barney, these dinosaurs are scaly. Your fists are probably going to be skinless by the time you beat up the dad or after like everyone but the dad and the teenage boy. And with claws they'll probably shred your face off.

Not like I've done it so I don't know how much it changes things up, but there's always "A Hat in Time" with the Vanessa segment.

Just think, if you're a muggle in the Harry Potter world you could be destined to have a child that'll be bullied by many of their fellow classmates!

I have a rough thing in regards to Kid Eternity. So generally with every summon of his, over half of our players swarm every single one and I feel like adding myself to the mix just would lead to a dozen PC messages for every single Scar one. Not really that many but it just is an overwhelming problem to involve myself in these popular summons, especially when I don't always know what to say, then 30 messages pass and I haven't said anything, making me pretty much not a part of a scene.

July came with a ranking that led to everyone involved being allowed a special reward to choose from, that went in a draft order. One of which was the ability to choose a Kid summon. I wanted it so badly as it opens so many possibilities of what could change. We had a random John Adams and we could bring another President in play. We could bring anyone to help with a quest like say... the currently dead Superboy (though I'd have to check with Scar on that). There's choices like Muhammad Ali for Metabrawl. Many simple, fun choices. And I thought I made an incredible choice that would get a bunch of people on board.

Jon Valor is the ghost captain of the Donna Bonita who at a time, Minerva went to to discuss like... what Valor left behind. Now she's deathly scared of ghosts, talking to him is a rough endeavor for her especially since his whole crew is around. The first convo took place shortly after Valor first came to port in Z'onn Z'orr, like... 2 years ago now. I returned to him because I knew Scar would give me a greenlight or redlight if I asked Valor himself if he wanted to see his son again. Instead of using it for a quest, instead of using it for my own gains by summoning someone in Minerva's gigantic family tree... I summoned Jon Valor's son.

And I mean, it was as heartfelt as you'd think. Sentimental, getting to see that Justin Valor also actually went the swashbuckling route... etc. But first, it actually made Kid leave because a huge part of Justin Valor's story came with him selling his soul to a devil. Then there was the fact that I, someone who gets stuck on how to comment at times pretty much had this entire Kid summon to myself. Which lead to Scar threatening to end it early twice and War having to involve himself because to Scar it seemed like no one was interested in it. I was interested, just couldn't find a reply to everything as it wasn't meant to be an only me thing. But it made me wish I didn't use it on what I did because it feels like the whole experience was ruined for Scar because I chose the only Kid summon to pretty much have no one there for. Plus it was one of the only times I've had Minerva interact with Kid, which ruins pretty much all future interactions with him.

I suppose I'll finally actually communicate something here based on AJ with Minerva. But first I'll say this much, no it's not a crush on Aquaman. Minerva definitely idolizes him to a detriment that she cannot accept the idea that he's dead and it crushed her even harder to find Mera, who's accepted that fate of the King of the Sea.

Come AJ who doesn't just look like Aquaman, he looks like Aquaman from essentially 20 years ago, when Minerva was saved from essentially near death. Minerva primarily thought it best that AJ should stay away from Atlantean related things, because she's self-conscious about how Mera, how Tempest (the former Aqualad), how many more people acquainted with the real Aquaman might react to the presence of... the same man from another universe.

That ideology where she just keeps thinking about everyone else in Aquaman's life in retrospective to any given thoughts of her and AJ being part of a team together got strained even harder when AJ pretty much admitted to having a crush on Minerva. Minerva has stressed before she didn't have any romanticism for Aquaman because of Mera's love for him. She'd never want to get in the way of something that existed for longer than herself. So the person she'd want to rely on the most became the person she wanted to stray far from the most, as she pretty much can't form the same relations with him. But, she still knows that he's her most powerful undersea ally, and thus has arranged something for him to do in one mission now.

Our first image of Radio Tuner was indeed broken. When we found it in LA some characters there were trying to break it and then it just outright massacred them and pointed its broken screen towards us. That said, it's not so broken that we can't see the screen, we just can't control what it plays at any given moment since it has a soul of its own.

It's also not just stats either, we had one fight where gravity was being abnormalized and then we broke Radio Tuner, thought Radio Tuner was messing with the gravity of the room but really the song effect was every d20 roll would actually be flipped upside down (the result that's on the opposite side of the die). Or Hawaii where everyone swapped bodies and controlled the actions of another character (but that player would still roll the attacks), was a bit awkward for the two spellcasters.

It can be quite fun, but also scary when some effects aren't quite as beneficial. Ermine's Data 7 in particular has had many of the Radio Tuner songs be not quite the most beneficial to him.
