I refuse to vote for Mount Rushmore. I went there a few years ago as part of a family road trip, helping my parents move, and not only was it fairly disappointing, we ended up staying at a pretty crappy motel because everything around was somehow booked.

Those games are generally grouped together for their own reasons. You don't see people talking about "Street Fighter II/CE/Turbo."

People use Street Fighter II as an umbrella term.

Like whenever someone mentions Street Fighter III, 99% of the time they mean Third Strike because barely anyone plays New Generation or 2nd Impact.

Then do you see Persona 3/FES, Kingdom Hearts/Final Mix, MGS2&3/Substance & Subsistence, and DMC3/Special Edition as different games between their versions?

I can see Super Street Fighter II being a different game, but the differences between World Warrior, Champion Edition, and Hyper Fighting would be like balance patches and DLC in modern times.

We should probably ask if the Street Fighter II (World Warrior) votes are gonna be combined with SFII Turbo (Hyper Fighting)

Oh LAWL. Even though Nintendo closed the 3DS and Wii U service, people are STILL online playing Smash Wii U, original Mario Kart 8, and Mario Maker 1.

It's just that if they leave, they can't get back in.

So a couple nights ago, hungrybox did a Smash 4 send off tournament, but there was a vote on whether or not Bayonetta should be banned for the tourney and she ended up getting banned from the votes.

Well, the grand finals ended up being.....Sonic vs Sonic
LMAO that's like something out of Evo.

There was even a bonus match where the winner would fight against the supposed best Bayo player, and he still won against Bayonetta.

I also didn't realize how absurd Ryu is in Smash 4. Like his Shoryuken can KO at fairly low percentage because of the rage mechanic.

If you want to talk about an influence Dragon Quest III may have had, it's that the typical design of the monster mimics may have came from Akira Toriyama's design for them in DQ III, where they have teeth.

several readers suggested that the now-commonplace image of a mimic as a chest with teeth might have its origins outside of Dungeons & Dragons itself. According to this theory, it was the artwork of Akira Toriyama best known in the West for his manga, Dragon Ball for the Japanese video game, Dragon Quest III (1988)
