It wasn't really that poll results weren't being updated anymore, but gfaqs changed the function it uses to hide/show the results. Since the results are always existing but hidden in the OP message of poll topics, that's all kept fine it just wasn't showing anymore. I just had to remake those functions to work again and default on topic open to showing the results

You get medals based on how much you ship of an item, and every item can have one. You have to ship a lot of an item to hit gold, and it's just a completely stupid ridiculous idea to gold medal the majority of items. They don't do anything, they're just something you can see when looking at the shipping list. Like sure you could do most crops and their cooked dishes, and you could do a bunch of crafted stuff with simple materials, but no one is gold medaling all the rare fish or their cooked dishes, or the crafted items with the rarest drops in the game.

In one episode, Eddie nearly kills himself to save Justin, and gets one deed. He enters a despair event horizon because of this, and decides to give up on good deeds and stay a dog. Its so bad that the normally snarky Drifter actually pleads with Eddie to not give up. It takes him nearly killing himself again to save Justin again, and getting another good deed, to realize he still has a chance.

The Drifter also does this to other kids too; one episode has a dog who is undergoing a similar trial just like Eddie, and the only person who can hear her speak is the last person whose car she destroyed. (She "Pooled" them.) One can only imagine how many dogs are actually transformed teens.

Eddie's a teenager in the body of a dog, but has zero qualms with dating actual dogs.
