Because it's the default name in the code in every scene. There was only one instance of the error where it was "Aeris" and it just so happened to be the naming screen which unfortunately alters it for the rest of the game (the same if you put "Dodohead" for example as her name). And it only sounds like it's a lisp because you're used to Aeris because of the original game. Do you think Sephiroth sounds like you're saying it with a lisp? Because by the same logic is should be Sephiros. Since Earisu = Aeris, then Sefirosu should be Sephiros, no? We should compromise and name her Ear. --- Log on to the Webbernet!

It's not looking at how hard the employee is working, but at how easy it would be to replace them. And even if a job is backbreaking labor, if you can teach someone to do it in an afternoon.. your employer considers it an easy job (to fill again). The physics, particularly jump physics are the biggest sticking point and I don't think it's because they couldn't make his jump more flexible; it's because making the jump physics more realistic was the trend and there hadn't been the "why not let them change momentum in midair like some kind of impossible nonsense, it works better for the gameplay." revelation that changed everything yet. Mario level is probably pushing it but on the N64 banjo kazooie was a hot franchise, a serious standout in the 3d mascot platformer era. It's like, partly you had to be there.l, but even so it was a thing even if it didn't affect you personally. If you didn't have a PS2 you might not have experienced how game changing GTA 3 was directly, but you can acknowledge that.
