I got all the shrines and picked up my tunic of the wild I went with purple with it. Right now I'm working on upgrading but you need 3 star fragments and I hate farming those. So boring and RNG based, ugh.

200 something korok seeds, all beasts and shrines done.

I finished all of Kass's quests and I thought someone said he had a final quest for you back in Rito Village but I didn't get a quest from him. So idk about that. I love Kass though, wish we could get more of he and his master's back story.

Like unless something really changes, it'll wind up having the least memorable music and characters (outside of Link who's f***ing incredible here) of any 3D Zelda... but the gameplay might be the best I've ever experienced in my life

I mean, flipping the tower is obvious from the very first room so it wasn't a 'whoa' moment. if they obscured the upside down switches and treasure chests somehow then yeah I could see that being a whoa.

It was the fact that the switch was outside the dungeon that f***ed me up.

Man, flipping the dungeon f***ed me up so bad as a kid. I literally had to go buy the strategy guide <_<

And also speaking of Stone Tower Temple, it's where I currently am on my play through. I was trying to get all the fairies along the way but I'm very quickly running out if time. The one room that has me the most stumped is after you flip, there's lava everywhere and you have deku flowers. There's one chest on the other side of the room underneath the platform with the door that's surrounded by a ring of fire. I'm not sure how to get go it.

Ok... You must already have your climbing gear maxed out with the set bonus? Because I tried to follow your path and I even have more stamina than you and I'm having a lot of trouble :/ Which if I can't do it without the climbing gear's set bonus, then it kinda defeats my purpose of doing this since I need Rupees to unlock the final fairy <_<

For the set bonus you only need 2 fairy upgrades... I most definitely used this game to farm for the final fairy.

In fact I don't even have my climbing gear maxed out! I'm 3*4*3* atm

Ok, I thought you got the set bonuses from the final enhancement. I haven't gotten my set to 2* yet. Gotta get more lizards for the bandana. Guess I'll do that and come back.

Just got the Master Sword last night. I went through this super dark area and it was kinda a pain and had to fight a Hinox basically completely blind and it was pretty intense. I was hoping the area would light up after I finished the shrine :/ It had some cool statues and stuff.

So am I a weirdo or is anyone else using as little fast travel as possible? I'm a huge fan of Dragon's Dogma and I loved how there was almost no fast traveling in that game because it really made me get sucked into the game world and made it feel like this grand adventure and almost realistic in a way. So because of the way this game is presented, it gives those same vibes and I wanna experience it as if I lived in the world and have to travel by horseback everywhere. Idk I'm loving it so far. Only teleported once to the first tower when the old man told me to.

Super Mario 3D Land

This is essentially everything I could have asked for out of a modern Mario. I enjoy the style and gameplay of the 3D games (64, Sunshine, Galaxy), but don't really enjoy the "open world" aspect that some of them have. Bringing this style to set levels and worlds similar to the 2D Marios and executing it well made for a great experience.

I beat the main game while getting all stars in every level, and got a few worlds into the Special levels, but I'm unsure if I'll also complete those as for the most part the levels are the same and I have a bunch of other games I want to get to.
