Melatonin is a fantastic supplement, but that's just it: It's a supplement. It's not meant to completely take over your body's job of getting you to fall asleep. It's just there to kinda help you along a bit. It's great for mild insomnia, but if there's deeper issues it's only going to help so much. --- "She was like, 'Oh, did you see that firefighter? I passed out and it was pretty much the deepest sleep I've had in awhile. It takes about an hour to kick in, sometimes a little more, so don't take it expecting immediate results, but it is great to take if you know ahead of time you need to wake up early so you can take it an hour before you want to go to bed so you can get enough sleep. chill02 posted... I've taken 60 mg in the past 12 hours or so While you basically cant OD on Melatonin, you also probably shouldn't be taking that much. It could throw off your body's natural sleep pattern, and taking that much, especially if you take melatonin frequently, makes it less effective over time. If you've been taking it a lot lately and are noticing it being less effective, you should probably not take it all for a week or two to let your body kinda reset, and it'll be more effective again. --- "She was like, 'Oh, did you see that firefighter? I cant think of any lol If it is being used in a condescending way in the middle of an intense argument between users, it could potentially be taken as an insult depending on the context. In all seriousness, the best way to look at this to say if something is name-calling or not has to deal with if it's being used as an insult. Obviously calling someone a gamer isn't going to be taken as an insult on GameFAQS. Calling someone your bro in a friendly conversation with another user isn't going to be an insult. Same with calling someone dawg, bro, man, dude, etc in a similar context.
