For sure. I don't know if you played 2 but SR is structured the same way, you can only advance to the next area once you kill so many metroids. It's a remake after all. However the areas are huge, you can backtrack to previous areas via warp points, and other than knowing your next entry point for a new area there's zero hand holding.

Sounds awesome. Watched some gameplay on youtube and now I'm thinking about getting it. Didn't realize SR was actually a good Metroid game, heh

Literally my favorite part of taking Logic 101 in college. I love truth tables! I'll paraphrase the wiki.

It's a mathematical table used in logic which sets out the functional values of logical expression on each of their functional arguments. It determines if something is logically valid or invalid, sound or unsound.

Do you know what Modus Ponens is? That's the foundation for the logical expression.

You'll have to school me on this stuff some other time.

I gotta dip out of this discussion for the time being to get some work done. Might bbL if I feel like going further, but I don't see this going anywhere really. People have their opinions and hold pretty strongly to them. We're all biased to some degree, including myself.
