Also Theon Greyjoy was during my tenure as host; several ASoIaF characters had been nominated by people and I wasn't yet familiar with the series, so I attempted to determine via a quick "spoiler-free" Google search which one was the main character and (quite incorrectly, as it turned out) landed on Theon. No idea how I came to that conclusion, but it was still years before the show would start airing so information about the story wasn't *quite* as readily available and clear at the time.

Castle in the Sky is definitely the best of these.

(Incidentally, it's also one of the few Ghibli movies where I recommend the dub over the sub, as Joe Hisaishi's rewritten musical score for the dub is one of the best scores he's ever done.

... of course depending on where you watch it you may or may not have a choice re: the music as it's irritatingly inconsistent between versions. Still.)
