It's kinda hard to debunk it "on Christian terms" because the history and tradition of the Christian church is overwhelmingly supportive of his thesis.

The only way to "debunk it" is to appeal to the core of Christ's teachings of love, inclusiveness, and caring for people more than laws or money.

Self-mythologizing boomers believed that theirs was a revolutionary generation, destined to change the world for the better, and that it was their parents and grandparents who were the reactionaries and deserved the burden of blame for the way the world was. Nowadays, zoomers nurture those same illusions about themselves.

I'm kind of optimistic that with the internet, Zoomers will see and understand who is causing all this garbage, and be angry enough to turn up and vote them out. As boomers start to die out, the "values" that have led us to this will be less common.

The boomer generation began dying out at least a decade ago, yet the decline seems to be accelerating instead of slowing. You're turning a blind eye to the threat posed by voters from younger generations who've been quietly filling the gaps, and it's because you're pinning all your faith on a naive, simplistic equation: one particular generation = wholly bad, all other generations = good.

If you think modern America will be a shining beacon of hope in 20 years' time simply as a result of the boomer generation having shrunk to practically nothing, I fear you may be in for a bitter disappointment.

I think I'll take a break from movies, then.

I have absolutely no problem with anyone saying they would rather not sleep with someone whom they don't find attractive. It's not compulsory (or at least, it shouldn't be) to like or dislike anyone or anything; and it'd be absurd, not to say downright damn unreasonable, to expect everyone else to have the same likes and dislikes as ourselves.

What I do have a problem with, though, is someone telling me that I shouldn't sleep with someone whom I find attractive. I also have a problem with someone denigrating and dehumanizing someone whom they don't find attractive just because they don't find them attractive. Just stick to saying, "No thanks, not for me," and I'm sure we'll all get along just fiiiiiine.

I absolutely fucking love obese girls, but that doesn't mean I'd criticise skinny girls.

So long as you like what you hear, that's all that matters.

More seriously, Connery's finest acting hour was in The Offence, a grim psychological drama in which he played a cop having a mental breakdown who beats a suspected child rapist to death in the interrogation room. Probably the straightest role he's ever played.
