How do you see something like a prediction of who is winning an election any more innate and not an estimate of a candidate's "true chances" than someone's batting average? A batting average is just historical data. Actual chance to hit depends on the skill and current fatigue level of the pitcher. The left/right handedness of the players is also a huge factor.. it's nothing at all like rolling a die or bowling average. --- |
