He is notorious for stiffing contractors, employees, and even fellow patrons (several times he's gone to restaurants and claimed that he will pay for everyone there, and then left without paying for anyone). That seems like something you should be doing after someone is dead. Don't really see these types of honors while people are alive. I think naming a street while someone is alive is more appropriate.They did with Washington International Airport being renamed Ronald Reagan Washington International Airport in 1998. Reagan died in 2004. Also, the junior high school I went to (John T. Baker in Damascus, Maryland) was named for him when it opened in 1971, and he attended the naming ceremony. --- Insert some witty line here |

What was cash cab about? Vaguely heard of it. Not on anymore?Cash Cab is basically a moving game show. (Think Jeopardy, but in a cab) The host picks them up in the cab and takes them to their destination, and asks them general knowledge questions along the way, and each question is worth X amount of dollars, and the amount increases every couple questions. The contestant(s) are allowed 3 mistakes, after which the cab pulls over and kicks them out and they get nothing. If they manage to get to their destination, they then have a choice to either take the winnings, or try a double-or-nothing video question. They're also allowed one 'street shoutout' (asking a random person on the street) for help with a question. And no, I don't think it's on anymore. were many of them actors, not real life scenarios? many thought this of springer, tooNot actors, but all those kinds of shows are scripted by the producers, for ratings. Even 'reality' shows have a lot of scripting. (Cash Cab comes to mind. The 'contestants' are told in advance that the cab they will be getting into is the Cash Cab, and told to act surprised, and they have to sign waivers and such before they're allowed to get in it) --- Insert some witty line here |

This is forgivable in games as outside of a niche audience, realistic bullet trauma health is terrible mechanic for game design.That's one reason why I like games like GoldenEye and Perfect Dark. You don't heal up during a mission, so every shot makes the mission that much harder, especially in missions like Control, Caverns and Cradle on GE and Air Force One and CI Defense on Perfect Dark. --- Insert some witty line here |
