We can't reasonably be expected to follow rules that don't exist in any official capacity. There's always been a significant portion of the rules that aren't written anywhere and, if you're lucky, you might get an NWD or NKL if you fall foul of rather than them jumping straight to warnings. These NWDs / NKLs then get treated as an actual history of intentional violations if you make some other minor insignificant violation before they purge, despite that you couldn't have known they were an issue and weren't intentionally breaking rules. Even having a past moderation overturned for the same thing is no longer a guarantee of anything, even when literally nothing exists to suggest the rule has changed. --- Do, or do not.
