Especially the PSP, Tekken 5 and 6, Portable Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai and Tenkaichi Tag Team, basically all PS1 games, and then emulation(can do GBA and SNES). Its crazy that you can get one off of ebay for just 80ish dollars

And you can hook it up to a TV just like the switch

I may have missed it. What is your degree going to be in? What are your job prospects after you get the degree? Do you have someone lined up willing to hire you? What are you making now versus when you finish your degree? Depending upon the answers to these questions, she could be quite rational.

Regardless of whether or not you stick with her, you could look into that.

I talked to my wife about wanting to go to med school. She told me if I wanted to do it, we would sell all our stuff, she would work overtime, and we would make it happen. I couldnt let her sacrifice that much, but it just goes to illustrated the kind of woman you want on your side.

I'm in school for Physical Therapy, and I'm going all the way to a doctorate. I was going to graduate with my A.S. and be a PTA in the mean time. I will have a job for me after I graduate. Right now I'm making roughly $16/hr. After school I should be making around $30/hr. Before I'm even 30.

You're on the right track then. Don't let her opinions make your feel bad about what you're doing and your overall status in life.

There are plenty of women or there who would not only be happy when where you are not also proud. Just keep it up and don't start slacking or let the sad feelings get in the way of your work and progress. As long as you keep doing what you're doing and stay consistent you'll be good

Ask her if she plans to pay for those loans required to do what she wants.

And frankly the fact that she went as far as to issue an ultimatum simply because she will temporarily(?) be making more money then you is ridiculous...

It makes me wonder why you stuck with this woman as long as you have, because that is insanely controlling....

Idk, she didn't start being this way until like a year ago. I still have feelings for her, but she has been stressing me out a lot about this. I want her to let me do my schooling the way I feel comfortable about it but she doesn't se to care.

She also is trying to rush into having a kid, despite the fact that she is only 23. I want to be two years into my career before starting my family, she wants to do it next year. Also she wants to go straight from school to buying a house.

Yet I still lover her. When I look at her I see all the great times we've had in the past. I'm not sure if I'm with her for who she is now or who she once was. :/

Sounds like to me she is ready to be in her mind what an adult is and sees you as still trying to figure out your life. That's not a knock on you, but I know both men and women that get like that in their mid to late 20s because society dictates they should have moved out into a house, have a kid or two, and be in financially stable jobs all by the time they hit 30.

Yeah I agree, this sounds like what it is. But she's going about it in the wrong way. Maybe she'll realize it or maybe she won't but regardless never put yourself in financial debt to satisfy someone else because it is hard as fuck to get out of it and it doesn't feel good to live day to day in debt to someone else.

It's a hard thing to do but moving on is the best. Move on and don't feel any regret once your do. Any time your start to think what if or think about if you could have handled it better just remember that you made the right decision

First off, she's a cyborg and therefore partially organic.
Second, he just wished to take the bombs out of 17 and 18.
Third, she's one of the hottest chicks in DBZ and could easily beat his ass inside out. So clearly he has something appealing to her. He even got to put a baby in her.

*nerd mode: on*
she's not just partially organic, she's mostly organic.
just see her as a prototype of Cell, enhanced humanoid with bio-organic components. that's also the reason why cell needs to absorb 17 and 18 in order to evolve.
the only mechanical parts in her and 17 are the bomb and the mind control device.

I think it is safe to say that Krillin is perhaps more diverse and a more accomplished fighter overall. Tien's only recourse in DBZ seemed to be pushing everything he has into the Tri-Beam. Yeah, it held down Cell, but he literally just poured all his energy into a few blasts and then collapsed.

Krillin, meanwhile, used strategy and actual technique to outmaneuver Frieza for some time, and developed the Destruco-Disk, a move that GOKU used recently in DBS.

Tien created the solar Flare that Krillins uses so much. Plus he has the split up technique, the four arms technique DondonRay and other stuff

Also recruiters are good, but you're better off finding what major companies exist near you and seeing if they have their own internal job posting system which you can browse. Also never be afraid to cold call, you'll never know what you find.

Okay cool. Today I'm going to check out local companies and write a list to call.

Do you have an idea on which types of jobs may be best for a new grad? Like which particular subject? I have basic experience with C++, and Java. Creating Android Applications and also Database Management. As far as IT I have experience with Desktop Repar and setting up networks.

Is there any type of job I should zero in more on? Focus more on applying too? I think another issue I've been having is that I'm not specialized into anything.

^Internships in school districts and tutoring classmates aren't worth anything in the tech sector. Consider an internship at an actual company if you can make it happen, but realize that even though you have "experience", from a corporate perspective you're no better than a fresh grad.

Dang. If I had known that I might have not worked at the IT job in the school as long as I did. Tbh the time spent working and traveling took away a lot during my actually time in school.

What I really wanted was an Internship that involved actual programming so I could get more practice. It's never too late though. I'm glad I'm actually at the milestone of having the degree I just need to make something happen with it

That GPA hurts you a little bit. If you're putting it on your resume, consider either leaving it off or having a separate GPA for classes relevant to your major. I've seen the latter on resumes and while it's a bit grinding to see, if you've got like a 3.8 in CS classes and a 3.0 in other classes it at least shows that you know your stuff where it really matters.

As for finding a job, NYC sets a really high bar... you'd be better off looking in North Jersey or Connecticut and commuting. Both of those places also have a lot of tech jobs, but without the crazy standards held by a company that can actually afford to exist in NYC.

I think my CS major GPA may be around 3.2 or something in that range. Just a little higher than my average GPA

I also have noticed that about NYC. The calls and responses I've gotten back in my search were usually in Jersey and PA. I've been using ZipRecruiter though and Linkedin it feels like most repsones are "junk" responses though. I'll admit I did get burned out around June and haven't been applying to "real jobs" as aggressively as I was

Did the companies you did internships at not have open positions?

Pretty much. I worked in an NY Public school as an IT person for about 3 years. The thing is to work officially for the Department of Ed in the position I had you have to go through a process that involves getting a teaching license.

The other internship I did was tutoring intro level CS classes at my school. I got paid for that too but it's not something I could do permanently. I may go back and try to get reinvolved with my former classmates and school staff to see if theres anything I can help out with/any opportunities though. Been thinking about doing that for a long time but just has been busy the past year

You should have traded them for something else, or just keep them. You should be good for now though. I recommend just studying the markets really paying attention to them and jumping in on the cryptocurrency thing now in general while its still emerging. since you at least know how to mine you should be able to take advantage.

I mined a Litecoin and a Vertcoin back in 2013 and kept it around. Took me just a few days and the coin is worth 250 now. I'm keeping it though just because. You never know
