It's by design. The 'west' and much of society outside of it is consistently moving towards more progressive ideas over time, even if there are hiccups and setbacks. Right wing idealogues know this and know their support is largely old people who will all be dead in the next couple of decades. They need violence and radicalization to keep themselves afloat

I think it's a mixture of morons and propagandized folk, but I know for a fact some portion of them are part of Israels digital propaganda arm (maybe not here, but certainly on large websites)

that's fair, but military propaganda isn't as powerful as it used to be. the wars in iraq and afghanistan have disillusioned most of the american people, just like the vietnam war did at one point. the dissenting voices in israel are silenced to make it appear tha the country is unified in "defending themselves"
