Ive got an order in for a hybrid, not going full electric though. Seems like a good inbetween.

I suppose I boot up SMB3 every now and then. My favorite game thats readily available on a modern console. I dont play through it all usually, I just usually do a few levels and move on with life.

Maybe not yearly but I play through old Mega Man games once in a while.

Eh, they run pretty good promos that put it in contention with Little Caesars in being the cheapest pizza available, and there is one a block or two away from me, so I like it enough to get it once in a while.

usually its pretty okay when its fresh. Like Little Caesars, I feel like it takes a bigger dip in quality than average when its in left over form the next day or two.

It was always especially a bummer when something had coverage in magazines and stuff and then just didnt come out. Sometimes not come out at all, sometimes maybe just the North American release was pulled. I was a huge Godzilla fan when I was a kid and Nintendo Power had a little preview of the one on one fighter Godzilla game that was coming out hyped! Toys R Us had the little plastic flap with tickets of the game! Super hyped! take it to the register or to the little game booth or whatever and nope, they didnt actually have the game. Didnt find out until years later that the NA release was cancelled. I get it being in Nintendo Power months earlier, but no idea why TRU had the little box panel thing out and tickets to buy the game. :(

Perhaps it could be because they changed procedures on how to catch the guy.

I mean a lot of people know Chris Hansen these days... So him being there immediately could make the perpetrator run away immediately or maybe they could put Chris Hansen in a dangerous life or death situation

Yeah, obviously people enjoy the entertainment factor of him popping out but I always wondered how he never got shot or stabbed. >_> Obviously he isnt dealing with folks of great virtue.

Yeah not like super amazing but pretty decent, more good than bad.

Im not invested enough to do my own research, but I have seen basically this posted in various corners of the internet.

in the interest of fairness it wouldnt hurt to have a conservative In one of their prime time slots, but by and large their general coverage I dont think is heavily biased.

Of course, every game I buy ends up on there soon after.

Ive only been with younger but Im not against the idea in theory.

I remember after my dad died, we got back home and my mom broke down when she saw a bag of jellybeans that he had started eating before we took him to the hospital, and had never gotten to finish. Sometimes the little things like that can hit you the hardest.

Yeah, my in laws were visiting us when he had his fatal heart attack, my wife broke down when she saw the leftovers in the fridge from dinner the night before.

My parents are still around, but my wife lost her father. As said, different for everyone, but after the initial shock and grief of an unexpected death, longer gaps of time go by where it isnt as all-consuming as it feels at first. Random things can trigger deeper grief, and of course certain dates or whatever holidays in general, but birthday, date of them passing, etc. He was always excited about us eventually having kids and randomly got us a high chair and some stuff when we werent even really actively trying lol. So I know its really rough on my wife that he was gone before our daughter was even in the planning stages. We both (but obviously my wife moreso because she has way more stories) try to tell her about him. Its rare but when she (my daughter) brings him up out of nowhere and asks a question or whatever its kind of rough. Shes four, so I dont really know how much she fully comprehends the concept of death.

My first reaction was no way! but I have spent countless hours on a silly card game and silly match three game on my phone over quite a few years now.

I dunno, my immediate family never had guns but I live in a gun friendly? area of the country do I was always around guns if I was at a friends house or whatever. So I used to blindly be pretty pro-gun, but as I get older I see less of a rational need for a lot of them and would rather there be fewer gun violence victims.

So how do I roll my mortgage and credit card debt into a student loan?

It even comes from within my own team. Earlier today I had an interaction that went something like this:

like why is interaction so hard for the average person

Our help desk covers multiple locations that we have nothing to do with, as well as tickets for things we dont even work with but belong to another team. They love trying to assign us stuff on the other side of the state and things that we dont really even have access to work on.

Oh, and they love to not bother asking for PC names and locations so we have to try to dig things up from our inventory system based on who is registered as calculated user.

It doesnt look good.

Can confirm. I mean, its not everyone, but tons of end users dont hold up their end of the social IT contract.

At first I was thinking something on 360, but other posts jogged my memory I forgot I used to play PC RTS games quite a bit and they were online a decade or so earlier.

That said, I dont specially remember, probably one of the early Command & Conquer games or Starcraft.

Oh man, I need to change my Teams setting so they dont see I saw. I got a low priority ticket today and within an hour the person was whining about it to me on Teams.

I dont get to the theater as often as Id like (and Regal is the only one in town) since having a kid. Just tough to find the time. But I do enjoy going when I get the chance so I hope mine doesnt close. :(

That said, out of the past few times Ive gone, a couple of times Im literally the only person in the auditorium, and other times its a really small handful. Saw the latest Thor at some point on its opening weekend, and while it was busier than Id seen in a while, it was maybe only a quarter full at most. So that doesnt bode well for Regal in general or specifically for my theater if they opt to shut down less successful locations to consolidate.

Gotta say I feel for the divorced guys who dont get to see their kids a lot. Not that Id be divorced otherwise but thats definitely an aspect that really scares me. Obviously a lot of people are in that boat and Im sure you more or else adjust, but itd be so weird not seeing my daughter every day and being under the same roof. :(

Yeah, I kind of only like going on vacations because its something my daughter enjoys (and weve only gone on one with her, but intend to again sooner or later). I mean, I like time off work, but Id rather just be at home doing whatever I want (or go to whatever location in my town to get what I need).

TCs name reminded me, think she might be too young and thus too short to ride much, but Ive thought of taking the kid to Cedar Point. >_>

My pride and joy as a kid was saving up to get the Black Monarchs Castle. I think it was only like $60 but that was a lot for a kid back then. >_>

Id love to get something like this or the Nintendo stuff but its just tough for me to justify the cost and not really sure what Id do with it after I build it. Maybe itll make a little more sense when my kid is older and graduates to regular Lego blocks over Duplo.

I used to get fast food a lot on my lunch break (and McDonalds was by far the closest so got the most attention), and its weird how you really lose the taste for it after not going on a regular basis anymore.

Nah. Not on a lot now, but previous jobs I goofed around on GameFAQs in general and CE specifically a lot. Decent enough time waster but Ive never really got to know anyone here or make any kind of personal connection.

I do have people I consider friends from other forums (one of which I married) but for whatever reason never happened here.

As far as me driving, my wife and I have gone from NW Ohio to the Smoky Mountains a few times, but I think St Louis is farther maybe? I did that once.

As far as just being a passenger, when I was a little kid we went from NW Ohio to Garden of the Gods in Colorado. I think about two days of driving one way? I forget exactly how long it took, this wouldve been 35+ years ago.

Now I just dont understand why anyone would want a constant stream of any cable news. Like Ill check out usually CNN if there is a big breaking news actively going on, and maybe some election coverage on election night and a bit of stuff leading into Election Day, but beyond that, just why waste the time, let alone probably be getting mad about things that possibly arent even true and you cant do anything about them if they are.

I dunno, the reboot or IV probably. I remember liking IV a lot, but havent seen any of the pre-reboot ones in ages. I should probably watch the older ones again since everyone loves Wrath of Khan and I dont really remember anything other than Kirk yelling because its memed to death, and the ending.

I liked the 2009 reboot a lot. I get why a lot of people dont like Into Darkness but I dont mind it, Beyond is better, though.

Was this straight to streaming? Probably wouldve gone to the theater for it. Seems odd it didnt get a short theatrical run at least.

Admittedly that would be a surprise to see here. I work in a hospital and more people than not still mask up there but I dont think Ive seen one anywhere else in ages.

Yeah, Xbox. I know its a much loved game, for some reason I couldnt get into it. Really odd because Ive loved Spider-man for forever and at the time SM2 was my favorite movie ever lol.
