Dabura does have some moments. Him bum rushing Kibito is a great kill. And he has a sense of being a real threat as he fights Gohan to a standstill, until Vegeta drops the news that he (and Goku) feel that Dabura and Gohan are weak. At that point, yes, he just becomes fodder to show how strong Buu is.

But yeah, your first comment was different. There are plenty of characters that Id put lower than Dabura. Like Tarble. Who gives a fuck about Tarble?

So basically, think of the best 8-bit game in a series. Then compare it to the first 16-bit game in that series. Going off this criteria, which series had the biggest leap from the 8-bit generation to the 16-bit generation?

Im disqualifying games that debuted on 16-bit consoles, and later had 8-bit releases (like Sonic, which started on Genesis and later had a Master System release).

Im thinking Super Metroid will likely get the most attention, but here are games that I could think of to add to the discussion (feel free to add games that I didnt include - there are bound to be plenty more, although I think I covered most of the essentials):

I personally think the biggest leaps on that list are LttP, Super Metroid, DKC, and Final Fantasy IV. Mario is rough because of how good SMB3 was. And as great as Mega Man X is, I hold MM2 & 3 in super high regard, so X isnt on my short list.

Not sure just yet which of those games gets my overall vote.

Curious what others think.

Vegeta is my favorite in the series. He definitely has some low points, but Vegeta in the Freeza Saga is my absolute favorite character at any point in the entire story.

I voted for Mai, since shes done stuff over a much longer course. But if you posed the same poll to me 12 months from now, I wouldnt be shocked if I voted for Broly. Theyll do something with him.

Vincent ranks low on my list for FF7 party members. But he has a few moments where Deathblow + 255% hit accuracy weapons = guaranteed big damage. Thats always fun.

I played REMake for the first time in 2021 (Id previously played RE1 on PS1 for like 2-3 hours when it first came out, and that was it). I absolutely loved it.

I still need to play the other games in the series, but I just have way too much on my plate these days.

One of the worst things to come from all this recent thief bs.. is certain people online will immediately say oh its just property, get insurance, or you have insurance.

What if their insurance doesnt cover it? What if they dont have full coverage. Youre still taking someone potentially out of work for a couple days to get it repaired

Also, you need to pay the deductible for your comprehensive coverage. Most people probably have that at $500 or $1,000. So it isnt like its just a free replacement.

Might not be necessary, since you arent moving in immediately, but make sure your utilities are scheduled to start and be in your name so everything is good to go when you need them to be ready. The essentials, like water, gas and electricity, but also stuff like internet and (if you want it) cable.

You had an inspection - good. I live in Illinois, where you are basically forced to have an inspector, and I only recently learned that this is not required (and in some states, discouraged) everywhere else - I had a buddy who moved into a new construction townhome in Vegas about a year ago, and he is still paying the price for shortcuts that the builders took (stuff that was not immediately noticeable). Do you have a real estate attorney assisting you with the process? Not necessary, but it can help to have one, with any questions or small items that might not be obvious to non-attorneys at the closing.

I didnt play it until 2020 on PS4, so maybe the appeal of gigantic bosses was lost on me, compared to what it woulda been on PS2. I also didnt understand the need for a fairly large open world that is 99% empty.

I can absolutely understand why people woulda loved the game when it first came out, and Im not one of those If I dont like it, then no one should type of people. Its just a game that isnt for me.

They both undermined his core values.

Freeza by a good margin. Losing to 18 pissed him off and humiliated him, but he took it as an opportunity to look beyond Super Saiyan. Against Freeza, he flat out lost the will to fight. It broke him in the moment.

I had 18 clicked, but then decided to change it to Kaio. Theyre both solid characters. Really even match.

Also, didnt get a chance to respond in the last topic before it was closed, but I was messing around about Chiaotzu beating Yamcha. Guessing Yamcha would win, but Chiaotzu would put up a fight, and has a chance of winning.

Chiaotzu died against Piccolo Daimao and Nappa. Yamcha died fighting a Saibaiman - Kuririn killed 3 of those things in a single attack.

The only way Yamcha probably beats Chiaotzu is 1) if Chiaotzu still doesnt know basic match, and 2) Yamcha knows basic math.

My money is on the tiny porcelain doll character.

I like both characters, and I really feel like Chiaotzu was underutilized big time. He had a buncha potential that went completely wasted.

Depends on a buncha factors.

if I just have like 10 items or less, self checkout (which is usually the case).

Ill use a cashier lane if I have a ton of stuff, or I have stuff that I know will require someone to manually check it through (gift cards or alcohol).

Due to the caveat, youd need to be on the trading floors to make the transactions. Clicking sell on your self directed account means that the brokerage firm is still doing all the work. You could buy the stocks traditionally, but selling them would require more effort.

Moro is the best villain in DBS, IMO. Which probably places him at about 25-40 overall.

Piccolo is a potential top 5 character.
