Every time I see a Jurassic Park movie I walk out saying "why haven't they learned their lesson yet?" because it's like.. Why haven't they? They're on what.. The sixth? Seventh? Movie.. And they still don't get that dinosaurs are dangerous? Idk it just doesn't make much sense to me but I'm just a layperson so what do I know.

Had the first movie been a stand-alone with no sequels, they would not have made as much money.

A level that was present in the original game, but made inaccessible due to its difficulty, and brand new original level.

But not just any piano.

I will have several holes to put SJWs in, arranged by highest pitched screeches to the lowest. Whenever I hit a key, a picture of Donald Trump will flash on a screen positioned in front of them, where they will then screech loudly.

I will use that SJW Piano to create music, and become rich.

The physics remain the same. The turtles have a new hitbox though, making it harder to overshoot them.

I got the plats for all 3 games, but I only went for gold relics. I love Crash but there's not a chance in hell I would attempt to get platinum relics for every stage.

Just got the platinum for Future Tense.

Maybe if I didn't stop playing it for several months I would have gotten it sooner.

Final time was 49:24, while the Platinum time is 52:17.

I got the gold for that several hours ago, but I was pissed that I missed the Platinum by under 1 second.

There are two 3 second boxes hidden just behind the starting point.

This is not only big for time saving, but also means I can't maintain consistency with the rest of the level.

And now, I am attempting the Platinum Relic on Future Tense.

The game forced me to adapt to millisecond accuracy when moving (which was CRITICAL) for getting that for The Lab. I never lost that, since I keep getting killed by the second set of lasers, on the VERY final frame of animation before it goes off (since they have disappeared the exact instant when Crash dies), so I have to, very briefly, let go of the analog stick, to allow it to be safe (otherwise, if I do that before getting the stopwatch, I would potentially mess up the timing on everything else for the rest of the level).

I am getting anywhere from around 19:90's to around 20:50's by the time I hit the crate on the sidescrolling section, and I have no idea if that is any good or not. The problem for the level is that I need to not only go fast, but not get hit, since it is absolutely required to get 3 Aku Aku masks for invincibility just to even get the platinum. There are five 1 crates, which is next to impossible to get them all without getting hit, and I have no idea how to perform the rest of the level after I get to the sidescrolling section.

This is going to be a long night. Death Route is no help (unlike in Cold Hard Crash where it is easier to go to for the time trials than going the "normal" route, even though there are no time crates there), so I have no alternates other than trying to plow ahead and trying to understand what I need to do.

I am going to be pissed off if the slide-jumping thing is unnecessary here (and that is on top of sprinting everywhere else).

Oh, so they changed the hitbox back? I guess I won't be able to sue the "slipping jump" trick anymore, which means I'll be dying a lot again before getting used to the old style once more. But good to know about the skip and loading times, this is very much appreciated.

But do expect the entire community to use the ropes, since they mastered that part.

Okay, this is kinda sad. The PS1 could handle the glass reflection.

And it makes one of the boxes IMPOSSIBLE on the Switch.

Future Tense uses the mirrors extensively to hide enemies and boxes.

Yahtzee was saying that they changed Crash's hitbox to be circular from being a rectangle in the original, which makes platforming harder and makes Crash miss jumps that would've been good in the PS1 version.

Any merit to that, and if so, did that get fixed?

Short loading times confirmed.

Anyway, the patch apparently fixes the turtle jumping problem in Road to Nowhere and The High Road in the first game, the Vicarious Visions introduction to be skipped, faster loading times to be on par with the Switch, Xbox One X, and PC versions, and most importantly, re-added Dingodile's speech after his defeat in the third.

I ALMOST feel like playing through the first game again, complete with getting all of the platinum relics, but I need to 100% the third game first (completely did the second).

Haven't noticed. Works been busy.

To be honest, I didn't use my PS4 in a few months, because I was busy 100%ing GTA 4 and San Andreas on the Xbox One, going through Splatoon 2, Bayonetta, and Xenoblade 2 on Switch, and now Jurassic World Evolution and The Crew 2 on PC.

I feel like I neglected my PS4 for far too long.

Instead of the volcanic eruptions happening naturally, the plot should have been that the President doesn't publicly acknowledge the existence of the park, but nuking it as part of a "military operations", which would have caused the eruptions to begin with, with the intent of killing the dinosaurs before they become a public threat.

Not nearly as scientific, but it would have justified that the islands would not have been destroyed by volcanoes by themselves.

The movie is really dumb on the island, but when it gets to the mansion, does it start getting really good again.

And, The Crew 2 is now officially the worst game ever.

They deleted Trump's border wall, which they had in The Crew 1.

I can say exactly 2 things so far about the game.

It's cringeworthy on the whole "social media" aspect, to the point where it will be extremely dated within less than 2 years.

I don't know how to exit the game (seriously).
