aside from widows and edge cases like carrying involuntary pregnancies to term, single mothers only boil down to one of the aforementioned two reasons - indiscretion with partner selection, or poor handling of relationships with otherwise competent partners, and i am not aware of any major exceptions to this

it's not unheard of for women to exercise utmost discretion and tact and still get unexpectedly screwed by partners (esp in the long term), but as fony iterated, they're not single for long - compared to most single mothers anyhow - because they're decent individuals

you're always welcome to provide a solid argument to the contrary rather than the assortment of fallacies you've deployed thus far

the onus does ultimately lie with the woman in most cases as we exist in a society where her reproductive decisions are ultimately her choice

if she chooses to get impregnated by a drug addict, sociopath, womanizer, or deadbeat because he's "exciting" - which covers pretty much every single mother i'm personally acquainted with - she made the decision knowing well that he was incapable of being a competent and responsible father, and implicitly assumed all responsibility for the child from the get-go

there's nothing misogynistic about pointing out a lack of discretion or responsibility where it's due, and i pull no punches with single fathers either for their lack of discretion in who mothered their children, or how they handled relationships on their end

I am strongly for globalisation and free trade between countries.

I support "the state" and paying taxes to government, for universal health care, roads, hospitals, public housing, welfare.

I support government cutting those public offerings to people who coast on it. Basically, my line of thinking is "help those who help themselves". No welfare if you're able to work and aren't actively attempting to find work, for example.

The last McDonald's I went to had the touch screen ordering kiosks. It was super quick. The only people that were waiting in line to order at the cashier were old people who clearly don't know anything about technology. It was amusing.

The UI makes no sense for anyone that wants to make any semblance of a special order - it's oversimplified beyond comprehension.

Having worked at McDonald's in high school, the machines the cashiers use are far more intuitive and versatile, and having worked as a software developer I want to *****slap whoever designed the kiosk software.
