Naked Allison Brie is a disappointment in GLOW. (Of course I watched the show; it's wrestling.)

Her nakedness is a disappointment because she has lost at least 20 pounds since Community and Mad Men.

Well, the lines were crazy for Dragon Quest XI in Japan. That's not a surprise at All. However, the prices are insane. Apparently 91 bucks for a digital copy, and 77 for a retail physical copy. Why the hell is the digital copy more?

In unrelated news are any of you geeks watching or care about Game of Thrones. I don't have HBO so I can't watch on a weekly basis, and haven't watched an episode in 4 years.

Continuing my rant against Nintendo. I read an article about the shortages of The Nintendo Switch in Japan. The lines are still miles long, but he most fascinating thing isn't the lines itself, but this whole raflle system.

You stand in a line for hours just to get raffle tickets to get a chance, a chance, to buy the system.

Then there are the rock, paper, scissors, contest to see who can buy the console. Then the strategy and cheating involved with the rock, paper, scissors contest.

I love those crazy Japanese bastards, but America has some things right.

Also, Nintendo is selling empty Switch System Splatoon 2 boxes. Why? Anyway, criminals are selling the empty boxes as full systems to gullible people.

Saving no one in the process, and a chunk of Kansas is now blown up and is too government occupied.

Yet at the end of Batman vs Superman they celebrate him like he did something. Like he inspired people. When the hell did that happen, and can I watch those two movies instead?

I am presently deaf, well partially deaf. I can hear some things but not a lot. I can't hear the television or my phone.

It's a side effect from stumpy getting infected. It happened very quickly as on Monday I had the stitches removed from my stump, and it wasn't infected at all. Fast forward two days and I feel like death, and stumpy stinks like death.

I'm taking antibiotics and keeping a nice clean dressing on the stump, and I'm taking medicine to keep the fever down. Yet, I can't hear jack Crap so watching or listening is gone. My nurse took my temperature and it was 101. Way too high. I've been sleeping a lot too.

Just wanted to let you know how I was doing. Which is not well at all.

The Sun even had an editorial saying that her casting basically amounts to stunt casting, and to further the liberal agenda.

P.O. is just taking the same approach to Doctor Who that he takes to everything, "Prepare for it to be mediocre or terrible, and if it's not, then give it a chance."

He feels like it won't be a waste of time, and he can take the logical and preverbal high ground.

He feels like it's better to not get your hopes up just to be disappointed than to be pleasantly surprised. Which makes sense.

Entity, you and I are a lot more forgiving than that evil robot, but even I'm starting to have a lot of disdain for humanity. Especially now that I'm handicapped. I will tell you a story next post.

It was quite nice to see the last 5 hours of EVO being rebroadcast on television. ESPN 2 and ESPN U put the Smash Brothers for Wii U and Street Fighter V finals on television. Disney XD showed them as well.

I was going to watch them on Twitch, but this was a little easier, and didn't eat away at my data.

It's just nice to see video games on television again, after the collapse of G4.

Personal update:

I've been doing well being back at home after they cut off my right foot. It is quite the adjustment going from being able to stand and limp around to being wheelchair bound 100% of the day.

I was worried about showering (As my place doesn't have a walk in shower, just a tub shower combination) and using the restroom, but I have new specialised equipment and a sliding board to transfer to the various places I need to go.

I do foot and leg exercises to keep my strength up, and I have a leg brace to keep my right need straight. I get painful muscle contractions and my knee bends, but I need to keep it straight for when I get my robot leg. I also have a stump shrinker which makes my stump smaller so I can get better fitted for my replacement leg.

Overall, it's been nice to be back at home after leaving rehab. There have been a few accidents, including me getting ejected from my wheelchair on the ramp outside my house, and one bathroom accident, but overall it hasn't been as impossible as I thought it was before and directly after having the surgery.

I was explaining to the boss, my wife, about how I didn't love Toy Story 3. (She just read an article about Toy Story 4 happening at the D23 conference.)

I told her that not for a second in Toy Story 3 did I think that the toys would get melted. Because hell, it's s Disney movie, and a huge franchise for them. Therefore, I wasn't invested in the movie at all.

However, with the first 2 movies I cared because I could relate to the toys. Because toys are often forgotten, abused, sold, or given away are all real scenarios that has happened in my life, and I can relate, from my perspective, and the toys perspective.

Same for the second movie. Because I collect toys and action figures. Never playing with the toys or taking them out of their package so they won't lose value. I can relate to that scenario too. (Plus that Sarah Mclachlan song broke my heart.)

I'm probably in the minority, but that's how I feel.

Odd note: I think my new neighbors are drug dealers

Evidence: They have 2 brand new nice cars.
They don't seem to have jobs.
Strange cars come to their house all hours of the day and night.
Strange loud noises are coming from their house all day and night.

I think the problem isn't necessarily the plot, which a lot of us find boring as all get out, or a pale version of A New Hope.

No, the biggest problem is that the battle system plays like a terrible single player MMO. I don't like MMO's. I don't want to spend a lot of time within a game dealing with the tropes of a mmo.

Unless the battle system changes, and it hasn't, I'm going to have to pass. I'm glad you enjoy the game, and are excited about this HD rerelease.

I'm just going to play Tales of Besperia, and Horizon Zero Dawn and hope that Persona 5 drops in price on Prime Day this week so I can snag a copy.

And... It's over. Those damn 4 episodes of Castlevania went by very fast, but at the same time they are well done. I just wish I had more, but noe having to wait until 2018 for the back half of the 8 remain episodes now seems so far away.

As for Final Fantasy XII... meh... I didn't like the game the first time, and better graphics and a fast forward button aren't going to make me like it any better now. If it's on sale for 20 bucks around Christmas I may pick it up to add to my collection, but I don't see a need to revisit this game at all.

Back from Spider-man: Homecoming.

I liked it a lot. It was an interesting blend of Ultimate Spider-Man, Classic Silver Age Spidey, and new millennial Spidey, and it worked.

I won't go into spoilers, but there were some "Twist" in the movie that a close friend of mine (Vandal Savage) hated and another he liked. The big one he was okay with, the smaller one triggered him.

However, I won't focus on that at all. They just got the character of Peter Parker right. And it was smart to make him 15 because Tom Holland is and still looks young. Plus it explored parts of Peter's life we never saw on screen before, whichbis refreshing.

My wife and I were happy, and once the initial ferver dies down I will go into spoilers. But it was s fun, very street level Spider-Man movie. I liked it a lot.

My ankle collapsed from a bone disease, and it got progressively worse. I went to three different doctors, and they all said that the best decision was to get it cut off and just get a prosthetic in a few months.

So, here I am in rehab. And doing physical therapy. The staples and stitches are still in and will come out this week.

I haven't watched any of this season of Doctor Who, but it just seems like it was a mess from the reviews and summaries I read over the course of the season.

I think Moffat has a lot of brilliant ideas, but does not know how to put then in a logical or strategic order, and he ultimately lacks an ability to put a solid coherent plot together.

Personally I think he is a better staff writer than show runner. It's why Sherlock has Mark Gatis as a show runner; too to help Moffat reign in his Moffatisms. Plus Sherlock has a few books for him to follow as an outline and he ca. just adapt the stories for modern times.

Yet, with Doctor Who he has to come up with wholly original ideas and he just falls flat 80% of the time. Either way after Christmas his tenure is over, and maybe the show will get better, or it couldn't worse.

It's kind of the uproar people had when Diablo 3 needed a constant internet connection.

I suppose we are lucky that Blizzard has supported the game, as they just released a new patch and a new Necromancer character, but that doesn't actually resolve the long term issue.

With the game needing a steady always online internet connection what happens if Blizzard decides to cut the server and stop supporting it one day? So, in 20 years you might not be able to play Diablo 3 ever again.

Then you have to ask yourself if you actually truly paid for the game, or have you just purchased the rights to play the game as long as the developer decides. And is that even legal pr fair.

I think that's a lot of what I hate about piracy. The sheer arrogance, nerve, and entitlement of the people committing the crime.

Just admit that you're a thief and that you just wanted the game and couldn't afford it, and just wanted the game, or even if you have the money, at least admit you steal because you like it, or because it's easy.

Don't hide behind the notion that, "Well, the last game was balls so I want to test it out first." Or... "Well, if it's good i will just purchase it legally later." Because the latter rarely happens.

The cord on the SNES Classic Edition is 5 feet long, which is 2 feet longer than the cord on the NES Classic Edition.

It's not 6 or 7 feet long, but it's better than what they put in the first box. So yay, for slight improvement.

Transformers 5 was number one at the box office this weekend, but the 45 million is the lowest opening weekend in the entire franchise, even the first movie, which made 70 million on its opening weekend.

Basically, it's going to have to hope that the international numbers are stellar because domestically it a getting crushed compared with the previous movies.
