Did it really end the series? Damn, I guess I remember everything about the game except for the ending. I thought there was still room for a fourth.

From what I've read it sounds like there's a Mega Man X Legacy Collection on the horizon

What makes you say that? I know people thought that when the devs of MMLC1 were working on something, but we've seen Disney's Afternoon collection and MMLC2 since. I don't recall hearing anything hinting at there being more than that. They'd be dumb not to eventually do others in the series, I just haven't heard anything on it.

I really like Star Force 1, 2 wasn't that great, and 3 was one of the best games in BN and SF combined

Oh yeah, I was going to mention that. SF1 was okay, but 3 is when it really peaked, but sadly the series was canned after it. I remember coming home from school waiting to see news from Star Force 3 when it was about to come out (pretty sure I was in high school but idgaf it's mega man which always gets me giddy like a little kid).

5 is personally my favorite. I'm glad they ported it to DS, but I never got why they didn't do the rest.

A better example might be Capcom vs SNK where you can mix up characters from both games with the mechanics from both games.

Street Fighter and KOF are fine games on their own. You don't need Capcom vs SNK unless you explicitly want to mess around with the crossover gimmick.

That's what I mean. Idk, I was interested in the game for the crossover aspects.

Well you probably aren't a big Puyo Puyo fan. I'm okay with Tetris, but I would still pay $40 for just a Puyo game (and I have done so before).

Completely different. You focus on how to name compounds, how to measure various things about the compounds, how to draw them, and detailing mechanisms and each reaction step for said compounds and how they interact with other compounds. They're all organic based so you deal with a shitton of carbons and hydrogens. A lot of the finer details are harder to explain.

what about degrees where the value is in the learning, rather than the degree itself?

edit: also, there are things that matter that aren't necessarily useful for the purpose of employment

Eh, I guess we just disagree. It's semantics really since technically all degrees "matter" in at least one case. I just took "matter" based on the way the OP was formatted as strong majors that have notable utility and people with said majors don't have much trouble at all finding careers that suit their field (lot of options).

I personally do not see a major that can just do some things another major can do but even less is all that great of a major. And if it's not useful for employment, it's probably something just anyone can research and teach themselves with relative ease, thus I don't think it's worth mentioning, personally.

You name it - it's a great major for various reasons. One of the most successful Majors for a politician or marketing/sales person.

You still didn't prove anything. Where are the actual figures? I already said you can use it to become a politician, but that doesn't require a history degree specifically. A Chemistry major could become a politician, so it isn't the history degree that specifically makes you qualified to be a politician. Hell, our President wasn't even a social science major at all.

so you're defining whether or not a degree "matters" by which jobs specifically require that degree?

That would mean that degree is much less useful and doesn't offer as many opportunities and is not required or asked for as much, so yes, that's a pretty clear indicator of a less useful degree.

It has a very low utility and is less useful than a large amount of other degrees.

Medical is definitely under STEM. All the medical schools require math and science knowledge to pass their admissions tests, and some require the students to have a set amount of science based credits to even apply. It's like that for Pharmacy school.

The Vita is already a companion to the PS4.

make another that's better integrated to the system and without a botched launch like the one that ruined the Vita that Sony never recovered from.

--kresnik-- posted...
It's discouraging, but I just like their handhelds for classics. It would be cool if they waited a few years and made something big and strong... and affordable.

Imagine if the new PS-portable whatever was Sony's answer to the S/NES Classic AND it could stream PS4 games.

It could come built in with like 30 PS1, PS2, and PSP games (10 each), it would be connected to the same PSN as the PS3 so you could go further and purchase even more classic games if you wanted more beyond those 30, and it has the streaming capabilities of the Vita but stronger, so you can take it as a portable PS4 player.

It would probably cost closer to $200, but it sounds worth it to me. Hell, maybe even bump it up to 50 games total to make the cost more easier to digest.

A lot of people itt seem to not give Light enough credit. And not sure why it needs to be stated, but if you want your pure old school Death Note, go back and watch it. This movie isn't an exact replica and it isn't intended to be one.

As a huge fan of the manga and anime (watched the anime at least 10 times and I have all the manga), I thought it was an okay movie. LOT of problems, and I especially dislike Light's characterization, but I realize he isn't the same character as in the manga. At the very least, the ending gives me hope for a potential sequel in which Kira is more demanding, and maybe they can add a new character to replace Mia that actually acts like Misa from the anime.

5.5 or 6 out of 10 for me.

EDIT: Oh, and one part I still don't like at all (aside from Watari in the second half of the movie) was Light's father finding out about Kira in the end. One of my favorite aspects was while L always felt as if he was walking in tandem with Light, Light's father was always a few steps behind and never realized his son's faults even to the grave. I hope they either kill off his father, or Light can somehow wipe his memory or something ,if there is a sequel.
