Compared to one? You're either drowned in nostalgia or delusional. I love FF games, but the first three are archaic as fuck, especially the first one. The remake improved upon it some more, but are both still mediocre. The original is flat out one of the worst games you can play by today's standards to the point where it's so slow, without direction, and boring that it's not even funny.

Also not sure how you can seriously put it below 13. I guess that says a lot about how seriously we should take your list.

Seriously? Thanks guys. I just kept going to the table hoping I would unlock the ability to do something aside from studying lol.

Is it possible to read at school? There's a reading table in the library, but the kids basically shoo you off. I'm hoping they allow you to after you improve your charisma or something.

On a side note, I thought I would miss clubs a lot more than I do, but I really don't miss them much at all.

12 hours in and just finishing the first boss... This game is too damn awesome though. I'm glad I'm taking my time with it.

If you completed the second dungeon at 18, sounds like I won't have as much grinding to do as I didn't leave the first until level 13.

I don't know anyone that's playing Persona 5. I had tons of friends playing DKS1-3.

1. It's a JRPG. Many people avoid any game that looks like an anime.

For what it's worth, there's two people in my house playing it right now including myself. It does seem to be mirroring Dark Souls' journey. Starting out as pretty niche, then each entry getting more and more notice, and then it just gets super fucking popular and critically acclaimed while people act like the series still isn't some AAA title.

Not sure what's making you think that's the case. There's plenty of highly reviewed games that are still very niche. While I wouldn't call Persona niche per say, it's still far from even Dark Souls caliber. Maybe with some more spin offs and a Persona 6 it can get there, but it isn't there now.

The newest one sold around 4 million units. It's definitely not niche anymore. I'd still say Persona 4 Gold was even niche even though it was more popular than prior games in the series. P5 is where the series begins to hit its stride as one of those series more people (mostly just those within the gaming community) will begin to recognize and understand more.

I love how people act as if trying to make people successful as opposed to letting them laze around at their parent's house or work minimum wage is a bad thing. "Da military" doesn't just involve going overseas and shooting you know. There's a wide array of military jobs, including office work.

And getting into college is not a challenge at all if you give a damn. Loans are a thing, plus financial aid, scholarships, etc. Not all colleges cost a nickle and a dime either. My tuition is about 12k, but a community college or smaller school would obviously be much cheaper. There's hella options available for people.

I think this is a good idea, it's just a matter of how well it will work in practice.
